- Jana H9 contributionsMy 11-year-old and I stumbled on this accidentally when trying to find late night activities in the city that were age-appropriate. It's just down the street from a really cool book shop and hot dog joint that are also open late. Anyway, the market itself was really chill. Lots of great variety in creations for sale and a very diverse range of creators and art styles. There was also an area for fun photo ops and selfies. Just great vibes all around. - soccerdude24Copenhagen, Denmark77 contributionsLuckily we were in town the second Saturday of the month and the free Lonely Planet travel guides app (which I HIGHLY recommend) pointed me here. I really enjoyed it. It's not huge, but there's an eclectic mix of flea market wares being sold, from homemade candles to clothing to African bowties and paintings. They also had live music, and a couple of food stands. I got the King Cake (my only time trying it in New Orleans) for $3 which was great, and the Drunk Pig poboy was fantastic.
