We have visited Dana S. many times in his exhibition rooms and his atelier as well. Over time we bought several big paintings which embellish our home in Bali. Dana S. is a master of creating wideness, tranquility and light. The different colors he uses in his paintings are overwhelmingly intense and are illuminating the painted scenes with a unique brightness. We love both him and his paintings.

One of the few remaining traditional markets. No supermarkets near here. Good range of food at very good (local) prices.

Wonderful experience! Agung and all the team were great! They were paid great attention to detail and made sure the end result was perfect for both rings.
This is a great activity to do in a morning or afternoon and to bring back home a cool and original memory from Bali :)
PD: we asked them to recommend us a place to have lunch afterwards and they recommended "Warung Ume Anyar", which was a great way to end our morning, the view of the ricefields is amazing and the food is great!

Our trip was on a wet day on a scooter. A fun ride at the end along the dirt road!

As the main road from Amlapura turns West towards Candidasa, instead go straight into the Jasli area. Look for small brown sign to Sorga at the start. This road is sealed and winds a bit. Only a few minutes down the road, look out for the dirt road off to the right with lots of small signs. The Sorga sign is now white. A bit confusing.

5 minutes down the dirt road, through some bumps and puddles (nothing too bad despite a good drop of rain), some direction from the locals at one fork that wasn't sign-posted and we got there. I can see why some people get lost, so I heard, but it wasn't that hard.

We were greeted warmly and shown around their plant even though production was not fully underway. Our Balinese host was very friendly and explained everything in detail with excellent English. She answered our many questions and knew her subject well.

She was genuinely interested in how we found the chocolate tastes as we sampled all the stages from raw bean to final block.

The chocolate tasting was 25k per person and we went through the whole range. If you like dark chocolate you will not be disappointed!

I was so happy to book with Nengah of Mudra Bali tour! I had such a wonderful experience and I would definitely book with him on my next visit to Bali. He took me to so many places daily, and he has many options to choose from. We went to places such as: the Ubud Sacred Monkey Forest, to Virgin Beach in East Bali, to Hot Springs in the North-East. And my favourite, Pura Besakih! If you haven’t heard of a dish called Babi Guling, ask him to take you to a Warung for some! You will love it! Nengah is easy-going and friendly. And was very chatty and informative! Again, you will be very satisfied if you book with him!

I was so amazed when I walked into this shop because it had everything I wanted! Gorgeous clothes, bags, shoes, and home decor. I wanted to bring a lot of things home from this trip to Bali and was able to get everything all in one place. I can’t wait to go back and buy even more next time I am in Sidemen.
