He made it quite easy for me to catch up with the wave and first on the knees then on the feet. He would give some tips for each trial and encourage you to do it at your own understanding and pace. Addresses weren't always correct, questions were ambiguous and some answers were downright wrong.
Too much walking for a 4 year old but that's about the age it was geared towards.
A huge missed opportunity to put in some history about what you are seeing.

I discovered SUP is very different from surfing, I just kept falling. I found Julie and she taught me to SUP in a couple hours. She then took me to Harbor Cove Beach for wind and kite surfing. We used the SUP Winds boards with both sails and various size kites. I could have spent a fortune buying the wrong equipment but Julie has ot all. - Kathleen OThe Villages, FL27 contributionsI can't put my finger on the actual element that I enjoyed so much, but all I can say I'm going back to Ventura, CA. Our short trip was great! We did the Scavenger Hunt and was so much fun, albeit towards the end it got a little long. There were 24 items to cover, but overall it really was great. Glad I had the chance to explore on foot. All the kids were new to surfing and were able to get up right away.
