- Samantha MCape May County, NJ140 contributionsThis was my second Scuba.com dive trip and it was excellent AGAIN. Raul and Mary continue to be attentive and organized right from the start. Mary does an excellent job arranging the trips and being available to answer questions (and I always have a lot of questions). As trip leader Raul is amazing. He keeps the group informed throughout our trip and worked hard to help manage any issues that such as weather concerns and etc. He established excellent rapport with the dive shop and helped make the week of diving even more spectacular. An added bonus to this Scuba.com trip was having Sal as a co-leader and photographer. He did a great job documenting the week long adventure through visual pictures and videos. I especially loved the keep sake video he produced and shared with the group at the end. This trip was to San Pedro, Belize Dec 2024. One of the things I enjoyed most was that our group had a boat to ourselves for the whole week and the dive shop assigned dive masters that also stayed with our group for the week. We really got to know the others we were diving with very quickly and made for a fun time the whole week. Our group stayed at Ramon's Village on San Pedro Island and the dive boat, crew, and facilities were top notch. Ramon's dive masters did a fantastic job with safety briefings, gear management and getting us to some truly memorable dive sites. I will definitely be looking for another dive trip with Scuba.com. Thanks for a great time.Written 7 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Scott E1 contributionIf you are looking for a thorough, knowledgable instructor for all of your scuba certifications then look no further. Sandra provides the knowledge and training feedback in a positive manner, often times with video review, while also offering suggestions on how to improve one’s kit and become a better scuba diver overall. I particularly like the personalized small to private group training she offers!Written 10 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bennyhannahmama1 contributionWe won the Google Search jackpot by finding Zb and Tec Dive Nomad when looking for a scuba shop to dive with on our trip to Utila.
My husband and I each had a few dozen dives under our belts and a few certifications from different places throughout the US, but our instructors, dive masters, and experiences paled in comparison to our experiences with TDN.
From the very first email I sent Zb inquiring about working with him, he was a consummate professional responding in great detail to any questions we had either technical or logistical and provided a plethora of options for the layout of our days. Zb remained in touch with us on a regular basis and did all that he could from afar to make sure we were prepped for our trip.
Once we arrived on the island, Zb continued to be a great resource to us, explaining the best ways to navigate around the island, providing us with the names/numbers of very reliable (and English speaking) taxi drivers, and other details making our trip more enjoyable.
Zb and his crew were very familiar with the dive sites around the island and took us to many different sites for all different experiences. We really appreciated how thorough they were about gear checking, setup, etc. all while remaining light-hearted and fun.
Knowing that we were diving with someone who had such extensive experience and knowledge about diving and safety made everything more relaxing and enjoyable for me and the safety measures and devices in place on the boat helped solidify that.
My husband was able to confidently complete his Deep Diver certification with Zb and I completed a Refresher certification as well as Advanced Buoyancy both of which made me so much more comfortable in the water than I have ever been.
We are already mentally preparing our next trip to Utila specifically to dive with TDN again!Written 15 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
