This is the best way to see the Statue of Liberty without the hassle. Get on the right side of the boat headed out from Manhattan. Go up one set of steps for the perfect spot!

Well it’s $3 each way but we’ll worth the money. It’s a short trip but interesting and a fun thing to do to visit the island.

Take the Astoria Line (AS) from Pier 11 in downtown Manhattan. You'll pay only around 3 $ per person for one of your most memorable river cruises.
It runs all along the East river, stopping on several stations on both, Manhattan and Brooklyn side. Amazing views from the upper deck which had enough outside seating.
The whole journey is around 45 min one way.

We rode the subway while on our New York City trip.

It is an efficient way to get around, and we felt safe - though more so on the trains itself rather than at the stations. The lines are easy to understand and trains are frequent.

Our only issue came with buying tickets at the stations - as international visitors, we could not pay with card as it required a U.S. zip code. One time, a ticket didn't work either, so be wary of that.

The PATH system is a core part of the transport system and a very inexpensive way to get in and out of Manhattan. Also goes north to mid town.

My son had a day off from school so I took the day off from work and got us tickets to the Intrepid so he wasn't home all day staring at a screen. I never take the ferry across the river because the train or the tunnel (if driving) are much more convenient and cheaper. The downtown stop is a better stop closer to the action but the midtown stop is only good if you are going to Javitz or the Intrepid.

The cost is too much, the journey is on a less frequent schedule than the train and the parking at Port Imperial is also too much.

So yeah, if this is your first time or if you are a local showing someone the city, this is a nice journey. If you want in and out quickly, take a train.

We chose to ride the buses on our trip. The electric buses are very nice with Wi-Fi and USB ports. Seating is more comfortable with more ergonomic curvature.

I am not sure if we got scammed because it was the weekend or if this is legit Monday - Friday! But we bought tickets on Saturday and the whole place was shut up!

The ticket men did a good job at selling them to us and convinced us it was too foggy to see the Statue of Liberty on the free staton island ferry!

They shipped us off on a ferry ( a group of 20) and dumped us in New Jersey! The shuttle bus sped off as quick as he could. We had to get an Uber back!

DO NOT BUY TICKETS FOR THIS BOAT!

This modern extension of the system had received a lot of publicity and it sure took a long time to build. So I was happy to ride it. Very crowded and much-used, so I guess it is much-needed. The stations are big and clean, but not well-decorated. Much deeper than other stations, so the escalators were very welcome.

If your in town to see your team play the Giants, this is the best way to go for cheap. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE SHUTTLE COACHUSA. do not take the NJ transit...

Please be prepared to take a long ride after the game... 2 plus hours just to get back to Manhattan

New York Cruise terminal is near to the Intrepid War ship museum. The terminal is pretty gritty and not worth a visit. Avoid.

Esteban was our driver, and was there in advance of the flight landing, we texted each other whilst in the security queue to confirm times. Very smart, very prompt and very professional. Thanks Esteban.

We used them for Airport transportation and a private tour. EVERYTHING was AMAZING. Communication was great. They were on time and very friendly. Our tour was awesome and Ray changed it up once we met to include some place he thought we would enjoy. Will use them every time we go to NYC.

This was so much fun! The tour guide was wonderful and fun! We went to a distillery and 3 wineries that were all amazing. There truly was something for everyone- even those who aren’t big wine drinkers or those who think they don’t like wine (that was me- my hubby is the wine lover, lol!) I loved that they picked us up from the resort we were staying at so we could just sit back and sample all the delicious wines without worrying about driving anywhere later. We definitely will be doing this again the next time we are there.
