Central Park is an urban oasis with its lush landscapes, iconic landmarks, and tranquil spaces. From picnicking on the Great Lawn to exploring the beautiful pathways, it’s a fantastic spot to unwind. Don't miss Bethesda Terrace and Bow Bridge for stunning views. A must-visit!

We walked from Hudson Yard to The Chelsea market.. What a brillant idea turning a disused railway into a pathway.. Filled with plants, shrubs, trees and character. The walk was delightful with stunning views of Hudson along the way. The highline has benches to rest your legs. Soak up the views and architect..

Impressed with the views, just make sure to get the basic entry tickets, as they try to up sell you on a lot of items. The Skyclimb isn't worth it, only 10 floors up overhanging the edge platform, and i thought you would be hanging on the other side of the building.
You can be assured, the glass floor ceiling is German engineered :)

If booking online, make sure you take a screenshot of your purchase, as they did not send a confirmation email and helpdesk took 24 hours to respond, i showed my screenshot and reception sorted it out.

One of the very wide north-south avenues in Manhattan, most famous for the Midtown skyscrapers that house big corporations. Some fancy restaurants for those on expense accounts. At the lower end you have the West Village.

Seventh Ave is a safer avenue for a walk after dark. There are many tobacco and cannabis shops along the way. Less of a marijuana smell than Eighth Avenue. Plenty of quality eateries and discount pizza.

I went here with a friend and we walked half-way across the bridge. There are good views of the Harlem River but it is difficult to take pictures due to the tall chain-link fencing on each side. The pavement design changes mid-way across indicating the division like between Manhattan and The Bronx. It's a good place for a walk on a nice day.

A cool perspective on Central Park from this area. A very relaxing and peaceul spot. Not necessarily easy to get to, but pretty cool part of the park.

Not everyone knows but you can make your way from 51st to 57th through the buildings in midtown. It's a nice way to avoid some of the crazy tourist midtown traffic

Eighth Avenue is not glamorous. Your on the border of west midtown and Hell's Kitchen. There are seedy bars. drug dealers, motorcycle gangs, etc. It explains the extra large police presence.

We happened upon Shorakkopoch Rock as we were exploring the park, and wow, what a find. We enjoyed reading the history of the rock and it spurred a wonderful conversion and a fun dive into researching the area, this specific story and the subsequent result of what happened here. Highly recommend.

Small Square off 72nd Sq Subway (1, 2 and 3) lines. Nice spot to relax, eat lunch, breakfast, dimner or snack on a bench or wait for your subway or bus to arrive.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. Plenty of horse drawn carriages and usual New York stuff but nothing special about this plaza.
