the view at Bethesda Fountain is simply stunning, offering a picturesque spot with the iconic Angel of the Waters statue and beautiful surrounding architecture. The fountain itself is a serene centerpiece amidst Central Park's lush greenery.

Given how vast Central Park is, it's definitely worth taking your time to explore as you make your way to this attraction. Whether you’re strolling along the pathways or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, the journey to the fountain is as enjoyable as the destination itself. It’s a perfect spot to pause and soak in the beauty of the park.

We had been walking 5th Avenue and turned in to see the Rockefeller Building and wandered around the plaza. It was so pretty with the lights in the trees and all the flags with the iconic statue in the background and the ice rink. Seen so many times in films, it was just starting to lose the daylight and it was very, very striking.
There were lights on the ice rink and Prometheus and Atlas statues were both amazing.
Well worth seeing and very memorable.

This strikingly beautiful statue is a perfect injunction for peace in this chaotic times. It's located in a small green space right next to the Cathedral of St. John the Divine and is a good place to sit, take in some greenery, and enjoy some quietude. I love coming here with a bagel to eat, or just to enjoy the flow of people. This statue is super detailed and should be studied at leisure. This statue isn't nearly as well-known as it should be, which is unfortunate, given how many people go through the cathedral.

Really attractive Fountain in Central Park. It’s worth a stop off for a few photos. The water was not flowing so bit average.

This fountain in Bryant Park dedicated in 1912 memorializes the late 19th century social worker Josephine Shaw Lowell, who founded the Charity Organization Society. Interestingly, the fountain marks the first woman to be honored by a "major monument" in NYC. It helps creates the charming scene in Bryant Park which is arguably one of the finest city parks in the country.
