Looking for an early dinner, we came across this little tile gem. Food with a Greek influence - we were thrilled with the food. My octopus salad was the best I have eaten since the early 80s. The mains were delicious and the service is as impeccable.

We had a fantastic night! There was live music with Sarah the pianists and it was simply awesome. The staff created such a friendly and open space which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely come back again

We visit family in NYC several times a year, and my wife is always disappointed when the family doesn't spend an enjoyable evening at Brandy's. Arrive by 9:30 as the tables fill up . The entertainers change nightly, however, the piano player, bartender and servers are all vocalists, some of whom have amazing voices. Requests taken. There is a two drink minimum, stick to well drinks as cocktails are subpar. We usually stay past midnight . The patrons are a diverse group and appreciative. No food is served. Tips are expected. It's understandable but unfortunate that the wonderful performances are not open to those under 21. We've never seen anyone stagger out or be asked to leave.

Dinner with friends before a show. Great location for theater district. (Walked from hotel and then across the street to the theater.) Cozy red leather banquette table in the back of the restaurant. Here it was possible to carry on a conversation while still enjoying the piano music/singing (contemporary, not Russian). Service was good although a bit slow. Food was fantastic. Highlights: stroganoff, wild mushroom soup, duck salad.

Sid’s gold room was so much fun!! And a great way to spend a Saturday night. The karaoke bar is hidden behind the bar. Staff was super nice and helpful. The crowd was lively and engaged, it made singing on stage so much more fun. The pianist did an AMAZING job. Extremely talented and knows how to work a crowd. If you’re looking for a fun/chill night with good music and a good crowd, I would totally come back here. Drinks tasted good and reasonably priced as well.

We had heard the Monkey Bar had been refurbished. We enjoyed cocktails and a lovely 3 course dinner in 1940s vintage Manhattan. Excellent food, drink, and service. Great murals on the walls capture glimpses of its storied history. Enjoy!

We were drawn to the Balcony Bar by the sound of a string quartet. Having managed to secure a table, we had a pre-dinner snack while listing to the ETHEL quartet. This is a delightful experience available in the early evening on Fridays and Saturdays. Prices are on the high side, but if you like the music — contemporary classical yesterday (Saturday) — you will emphatically not mind paying. This is an urban oasis!

We were looking for another place when we came across this awesome piano bar. It is quaint. We had an amazing time. The wait staff sing and serve. Everyone that sang had amazing voices and they were very personable as well. We went 2 nights of our 3 night stay in NYC. If you go, I hope your experience is just as awesome! :)

I had an incredible experience at the Experimental Cocktail Club—a true hidden gem! Tucked away in a basement speakeasy with an intimate 1920s ambiance, this bar transports you to another era. The dim lighting, vintage décor, and cozy atmosphere make it the perfect spot for a unique night out.

The specialty cocktails were outstanding—crafted with precision and creativity, each drink was a delight. Whether you prefer something bold and spirit-forward or light and refreshing, the menu has something for everyone. The bartenders clearly take great pride in their craft, and it shows in every sip.

Adding to the magic was the live entertainment—a fantastic pianist and singer who set the mood perfectly. Their performance added an extra layer of charm and sophistication, making the night even more memorable.

If you’re looking for a stylish, intimate venue with top-tier cocktails and great live music, the Experimental Cocktail Club is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning!
