- Amazing karaoke & bar
I booked for karaoke booth from the UK for a friend’s birthday and firstly the pre communication was fantastic.
The staff - in particular Kim was incredibly helpful on the night and we had a superb evening. The best evening we had in NY on our visit. Such a giggle

And they let you order outside food. - Erik VArdsley, NYThis place is so much more then a karaoke bar. It is a one of a kind experience. The pictures don’t do it justice. This is the type of venue that makes going out in NYC so great. You’ll have a blast there even if you don’t like to sing. Drinks were on point and there is also food available which we enjoyed as well. - CrystalLos Angeles, CAMy group chose Duet for its reasonably priced drinks and the ability to bring in our own food.
It was easy to reserve a spot. Call and tell them what time you need (2hr minimum for reservations) and how many people and you are set.
We arrived 15 minutes early and since the room was available, got started early. The host was helpful in explaining how to use the iPad remote and how to search for songs on the pad and the books.
As usual with people belting their hearts out to songs of their youth, the two hours flew by and the host gave us a 10 minute warning. Nice in case your group has a few must sing songs left.
The place has wifi so when you're waiting your turn you can do quick song research or upload embarrassing renditions of your friends' singing online. Clean bathrooms, comfortable couch, easy to order drinks and snacks.
Tip: Bring your own food! Don't let this feature go to waste. We brought in an entire pizza. We phoned to book, and the lady who answered had limited English and we kind of struggled with the conversation, but managed to get the correct time and date, so all good!
There is a spacious bar outside the rooms, and rooms can cater from 2 people up to large groups. They checked on us every hour to see if we wanted to continue using the room and they were always available if we needed more drinks, etc. This was my first time doing karaoke and it was my understanding that this place was quite cheap compared to others in the area. - Some friends and I went in for a private room which was fun. The original rate 18 dollars per person for two hours total, but at the end it was 37 dollars each person. We only had a beer each so I know it wasn't the drinks. When I brought it up to them, they lowered the check but only a little like it was some negotiation? Then they refused to give us an itemized receipt. Almost ruined our night. - Do not be skeptical! This was the most fun interactive corporate outing I have ever been to! We laughed and celebrated together. The staff was incredible and made sure we were all having a blast. - wontae cBac Ninh, VietnamGreat service from the staff. Mixed drinks were tasty. They also have great karaoke rooms within the bar that blocks out all of the outside noise. Really really ridiculously extensive selection of songs listed in big books by artist and song name. You get a clicker to input your song selection by number pins. - This is a unique venue offering all-night karaoke in a bar where almost all of the seating is sofas and padded stools. The drink prices are reasonable and the atmosphere welcoming with everyone mucking in together, singing along and chatting and generally having a great time.
You have to pay $2 per karaoke song you put in for but when the drinks are well priced this is not an issue and they have the largest collection of songs available that I have ever seen at any karaoke venue – there was literally no song I thought of potentially singing that I could not find in the book!!
