What travellers are saying
- SirAlexanderFlemingLondon, UK39 contributionsWe stopped here the day before visiting Kennedy Space Center. Lots of great planes and we happened upon a staff member who spent a lot of time with us sharing the history of each bird. Definitely go.Written 21 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- lesley gSouth Wales, UK78 contributionsEasy to find, free car parking and costs $10 for adults. I liked that there were several rooms to visit especially the room dedicated to female astronauts. This room was very informative - the nationalities and whether they were still active. There are so many objects that have been given to the museum it is amazing. I loved watching Atlantis taking off and returning to earth on original footage. A lovely shop selling all sorts of items especially for children. Very friendly volunteers and very clean restrooms facilities.Written 10 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MARGE CPinellas Park, FL20 contributionsI Love this GREAT Community Theater. It is the best. Shows are SUPER, seats are comfortable, and you can set back and enjoy the show. Staff is very pleasant and professional. Restrooms are nice and clean. I just saw Escape to Margaritaville, What a wonderful production. It was so UP BEAT the place was rockin', I cannot wait
to see the rest of the productions I have scheduled.Written 24 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David PAlbany, NY14 contributionsGreat local micro-brew. Very cozy, homey feel, with wonderful wait staff. We came in during the Artemis splashdown and there were a number of NASA folks hanging out and cheering the landing. Beer was wonderful, including the Artemis ale that was just for the occasion. Food service was fantastic, and with everyone there I'm sure the kitchen was hopping. I will definitely make it a stopover while in town.Written 31 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rhpstudioFlorida121 contributionsThis is a very cute and clean park. Plenty of parking, wonderful river water view, great play park and fenced in splash pad. We went for the splash pad. It was nice and big and splashy. A few covered areas for shade. Restrooms were just outside the fence. Fenced, if you didn't get that. Being fenced is SO important to us. The water features were clever and nicely spaced, too. There are NO benches, so bring your own chairs.
I'm sure I'm missing something, but again, we went for the splash pad. A GOOD choice for younger children. The play park is nearby, too. On a side note, there was a very large covered area near the water, I suspect it is for large groups or even small wedding venue...Written 26 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great place to ride your bike, have a picnic, take a walk, let the children play on playground, or all the above. Great day out. - FloridaMeisterSebring, FL1,249 contributionsWe stopped in here during a street festival as the space coast celebrated the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. They feature the history of Titusville and Brevard County as well.
The number of artifacts they are able to display here really is impressive. From old high school memorabilia, to old tools. military uniforms, housewares, signs, toys and bric-a-brac - there's something nearly everywhere you look. They also had docents on hand to direct you and answer questions.
Truly and amazing place if you like history and AmericanaWritten 18 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If you are coming from the north and turn off US 1 it can be a little intimidating due to the NASA restricted area signs. Keep travelling for 8 miles until you see the sign for the Manatee viewing. The turnoff will be to the east side of the road. Parking is limited to about 12 spaces. People parked along the side of the road. The viewing area is right off the parking lot less than 50 feet from the parking lot. It has a ramp for easy access. The concrete raised section is about 100 feet long looking over the river. When we were there we saw dolphins and manatees. We were there about 15 minutes and saw 1 dolphin and 5 manatees. It is a very nice observation deck but parking is limited.Written 17 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - June G2 contributionsDue to lake vegetation, not much bank fishing area is available. Boardwalk beside boat launch is usable for fishing.Written 9 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- EFW2014Woolwich, ME1,080 contributionsLots of parking and 3-4 boat ramps. Couple sea walls and the Brewer bridge. Lots of shoreline fishing opportunities. I caught a couple small ones.Written 16 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
