What travellers are saying
- mcauleyonkiStevensville, MD139 contributionsHad a great time visiting Fenway Park. The vibe was electric, and found the area to be safe and family friendly. There was one bar off the main pre-game street that had a window overlooking the game at field level. Pretty Cool!Written 11 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Loriben2 contributionsThe tour guide was fantastic! Jeremiah was funny, well spoken, and very informative. Will definitely be doing this tour again in the future.Written 10 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - theuncle2018Scottsdale, AZ218 contributionsOne of the better museums in the USA with something for everyone. If I had one complaint, it would be that its a little expensive. We only had about 2 hours and you really could spend several days looking at everything. In particular they have a fantastic section of French impressionists. Generally speaking the collection spans virtually all categories of culture and arts from early Persia, the Greeks, Egyptians and everything in between. It contains a truly wonderful American collection that shows all of the great civilizations from the last 3,000 years.Written 1 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HilS4 contributionsI remember visiting the Boston Tea Party Ship 40 years ago. The updated tour with artifacts after the ship was quite well-done. Perhaps they could update the 'sailors' in the ship's space - I think the dummies used in the ship bunks are the exact same as 40 years ago. Not enough time given to dump the tea for all on tour. Still a fun experience and highly recommend!Written 9 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- dctravelWashington DC, DC2,132 contributionsWhile we did not stay in the North End on this trip, we kept finding ourselves coming back to the neighborhood. First for dinner, then at the end of our Freedom Trail walking tour, and finally during a food tour of the area. It really is a cool spot.Written 10 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- jpgina53Boston, MA449 contributionsWell worth the cost for the spectacular photos you can take and the exhilarating salt spray you will experience! We booked online and showed up at their visitor's center on the Greenway. The park rangers were pleasant and one even found me a postcard when I asked if the booth sold postcards (it did not). A short walk to the pier might be challenging for the handicapped. The boat had inside and outdoor seats and there were two levels. No food or water is sold, so bring your own. The boat was not at capacity so everyone had seats. The narration was excellent once the volume was adjusted. It was a presentation of informative facts about each island and lighthouse with no ridiculous humorous banter. It is a long enough trip at 2 hours but the setting of the sun and the lighthouses were wonderful. I highly recommend this tour to acquaint you with Boston Harbor.Written 31 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dctravelWashington DC, DC2,132 contributionsChose to walk through the Boston Public Garden on our way back to our hotel one afternoon. Really enjoyed seeing everything in the park as we strolled.Written 10 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jari321Danville, CA28 contributionsTouring this museum was very interesting. Although too young to vote in the election, I wanted JFK to win and was happy when he did. The museum gives a broad overview of his life and political career. Many interesting short videos can be watched at your leisure and give a great retrospective of the times. Allow about 2 hours to fully enjoy the experience.Written 5 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - WismickchickKenosha, WI132 contributionsWe went to the Sam Adams brewery for what we thought was a tour. We have been on many other brewery tours so we expected the same type of experience. However, this experience should more be labeled an information session and beer tasting. You get at least 3 pours of 3 different beers included in the "tour". You first enter the brewing room where the guide gave you your first tasting and gave you some history on beer and some information on how Samuel Adams brewery does their brewing (which most of it happens in Cincinnati). Our guide was full of energy and funny so she made things very interesting. We then went to a separate room with three long tables where we all sat. There we got 2 more pours, one of which was a new beer that was in the research and development phase. The guide also showed us how to properly taste our beer using 4 out of the 5 senses. We were lucky to be sitting with a very fun group, so it made our hour "tour" very fun! Afterwards we went into their bar area and enjoyed some more beers. The bartenders were very friendly and answered all of our questions and allowed us to sample some of the beers before ordering. They also have a really pretty outdoor area to sit in if you wish and a small variety of food to order. While it wasn't the time we expected, we still enjoyed the experience......and of course the beer!!Written 5 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LReneeAAMinnesota66 contributionsGreat spot off the beaten track to tour. Teens enjoyed the large library and browsing around. - FilmProfessorLaguna Beach, CA54 contributionsI first visited the Boston Museum of Science on a school field trip back in 1984 and continued to visit for several decades. The museum inspired me to become a pilot in the USAF and a global traveler. The Omni theater is one of the world's best and most unique experiences. I recently toured with my wife and two children who were fascinated with the interactive displays and attention to detail of the museum.Written 12 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - sgelfman10 contributionsOutstanding museum and a must see while you are in Boston. When you are there, I highly recommend that you use your cell phone to listen to the audio guide to the museum. It made the experience so much better. Also, I recommend that you watch the Netflix documentary series about the theft.Written 12 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Brian L8 contributionsI reserved parking at the Boston Commons a week before I was there! Glad I did, too. Completely hidden beneath the Commons in an underground garage with several access points (take a picture of where you parked and where you came out!) The Commons is amazing just to walk through the green and see the surrounding building architecture and the Swan Boats!Written 4 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael H2 contributionsBeing able to get onto the ship was worth it. The museum also had a lot of detailed information and the experience was free.Written 10 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ChanceMan00Orlando, FL247 contributionsThis is a great walking area. The architecture is beautiful. There is also plenty of shopping in the nearby Back Bay area. One of the must see spots on a Boston visit.Written 7 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
