Ferry is just 15 mins to get to the island from Pier 33
Price includes audio equipment to guide you round the prison.
Very informative & interesting. Walk round the gardens too, there is another story there.

We purchased the one day passport for $16 each. We took the cable car to just outside Fisherman’s Wharf. The weather was idyllic and we had the opportunity to see quite a lot during our ride.
After spending the day in Fisherman’s Wharf, we lined up to take the cable car back to downtown San Francisco.
Not sure why we had to wait so long to depart at both ends. Especially after being informed that it departs every 20 minutes.

We went to the December 28th Dear San Francisco show and it was amazing. I had low expectations when we got these tickets. My in-laws raved about it and even went twice in the same week, so my husband mentioned it might be worthwhile to check out, while in we were in San Francisco. We made our way to the theater and ate beforehand. Club Fugazi is located between North Beach and Chinatown so it was a short walk from our hotel. We didn't know what to expect when we sat in the theater. A server came by asking if we wanted anything and we said we'd look at the menu. There is no requirement to purchase but we did get some tea and a bottle of water. Dear San Francisco is an intimate Cirque type of show. The theater is small so you can see the performers up close. The stunts range from acrobatics to hula hoops and juggling. It was a love letter to San Francisco and definitely a fun experience.

3 of us went to the Magic Theater and HIGHLY Recommend it!

We've been to several close-up magic acts and Jay's is top-notch. He has a lot of interaction with the audience and the whole experience is like having the show in your home (if it was in a Moroccan Casbah).

We left...Gob-smacked! It's a great show for kids, family, date night--everybody in the 40-seat theater had a fine time.

Not only Jay Alexander a great magician--the Moroccan theater is really fancy (started out as a speakeasy!)

Before the performance, you can purchase drinks and fine Moroccan food and make it "Dinner and a Show."

Park at the ACE Parking lot at 400 Taylor Street, directly across the street--you can reserve parking on line for $25.

I would love to give 5 stars but the seat just stay at the same position with only shaking. I would recommend to make a moving seat like a floating seat as that will definitely give the best experience. So far, I am happy with the ride.

Slides are on a nice quiet street. Great attraction for kids. The slides are fast and kids were sliding on piece of cardboard. Friendly neighbours on the street.

Our guide, James-Katherine was great. Helpful, (but not too much) and seemed to truly be invested in our having a good time!

The clues are not obvious and definitely require investment of thought but the pressure as the time ticks down can make you not very thoughtful or a so servant as you want to be. There were 6 in our group and that was a lot for a small space, but very fun and would do it again for sure.

This is our second time trying to escape one of the Palace Games escape rooms. This trip we took on the Edison Room (previously did Houdini Room) and it was a lot of fun for our diverse group consisting of people aging from 17 to 60 and all were able to participate actively. We are all pretty strong puzzlers and found the room challenging but solvable (although we needed five minutes more than the 100 minutes allotted). We were glad there were eight of us this time (when we did Houdini we only had four and weren't able to escape in time -- too many puzzles but still had a great time). It was nice to know the Ghost of Edison was available to give clues if we got really stuck but fortunately didn't need to call on him during this escape. Will definitely visit one of the other rooms in the future (still have three others to explore).

We did the King Arthur escape room and it was amazing! Our game master Nana was very helpful, and she enthusiasticly guided us through the solutions we had the most trouble with after our game was done. It's nice to beat an escape room, but it's so much more fun when someone takes the extra time to explain things. We found the puzzle to be challenging in all the right ways and managed to finish successfully. This was our third and best escape room. Can't wait to return.

The promo material for this tour sounded good but only touches the surface of how much of San Fran you can see. We were on an 830 a.m. departure so we avoided any traffic issues which means you see more.
Tara had great banter, good information on city history (current and past), and a good musical soundtrack. Nice to get some reviews on hidden food gems as we travel past or shops not to miss.
This is an excellent tour to get the vibe of the city and see some of the more remote locations while the compact city highlights are easily accessed through public transport, including the cable car.
Great vans, a slice of history and definitely turns heads, especially on Lombard st!

Really fun day on the water with San Francisco Whale Tours! Captain Joe and his team were great. Not just great hosts but very informative when it came to the whales and wildlife as well as the San Francisco Bay. We saw Humpbacks right away and watched as they kept diving and feeding in a certain area just off Crissy Field. There were plenty of seals and different species of birds all in the area as well. It was a sunny, beautiful Fall day so the Bay looked incredible from the water. Joe took us out just beyond the Golden Gate Bridge and the views continued to be spectacular. Would definitely do it again!

Very professionally run. Friendly, timely, good equipment. We felt safe and we had fun. Kids were kept happy. We were the only ones on board, but I'm sure a larger group would also be well cared for

The driver had a blast driving and I loved the view, the air and the stops wherever we pleased. The staff was friendly and accessible.

My wife and I were on the 4:50pm tour on Wednesday, September 20th. For this tour, they only allow 30 people. We had 28. You que up shortly before, watch a boatload of people get off the boat, then you 28 are the only ones to head over for the time being. Upon docking and unloading, we were greeted by our tour guide, Hannah. And then a park ranger will also accompany the group throughout the tour. This tour was great! Our tour was mostly inside, as the air quality was extremely poor, and Hannah gave us the option of some outside touring, or more inside touring to offset. We chose inside. We did get quite a bit of behind the scenes touring. It really was amazing. Hannah did a great job getting us around, and giving us plenty of information. At the end of the guided behind the scenes tour, we were led to the room with the cellhouse audio tour equipment. This was for us to go back through the cellhouse area and listen to the wonderful audio tour. And the big difference now was that by that time the general Alacatraz tour boat had arrived, along with hundreds of visitors. Unlike nearly nobody during our behind the scenes tour. It was a very noticeable difference between all the room in the world to move around, then to be shoulder to shoulder with people. We enjoyed this tour, and would do this all over again. And plenty of thanks to Hannah, our tour guide.
