We had a fantastic driver and tour guide. He gave us a nice history lesson on the development of the California wine country and prepped us for our winery visits. First winery, Jacuzzi, was disappointing. The event guide gave us only 10 minutes and did not seem very familiar with her wines. The next winery tour was very enjoyable at Artesa. The guide was energetic, informative and entertaining. We joined their wine club and even ordered several bottles to be shipped home. Best Chardonnay I have ever had! This was a delightful experience. We lunched at Gott burgers in Oxbow for great burgers. Traffic was too thick to go to Sonoma plaza so driver opted for Plan B at Oxbow which was a great choice. Our last winery visit included a small organic vineyard, Madonna Estates, which was also very nice. We had some marvelous Pinot Rosetta and a nice Pinot Noir. The event guide was also very pleasant and full of information about their different wines and the vineyards history.
