The nice thing about San Francisco, besides the views, is the number of green spaces you can observe them from.

Lincoln Park is a beautiful spot that overlooks the Marin Headlands and the Golden Gate Bridge. The Palace of the Legion of Honor is right up the hill, as well.

There are trails to hike, tiled stairs to climb (if you so desire), and a glimpse of an old Chinese tomb from when the area was a large cemetery. It's visible from the golf course, which is a popular spot for local golfers.

This course restaurant has a great view of the 18th fairway. The food and service are very good. The bar with so many excellent beers on tap is a treat. Very casual and it has easy parking and a very clean facility. Lunch stops at 3PM. Their once a month Prime Rib dinners is worth doing. They do not rush you and the dishes are well prepared.

Played this tack last week, we were greeted by friendly staff in the proshop, we stopped in for breakfast before the round, the food was very good, pretty good service as well. Out on the course the starter was great, funny, and informative. The course itself was in very good shape, the greens were a bit soft, but nothing to complain about. I'd play this course again if I'm ever back in the area.

We drove around and walked around this course in Lincoln Park. Did not play golf but did admire the landscaping and the interesting design on the slopes of the park. Some players used carts and some walked with their clubs. Nice outdoor actiivity.

We played at Golden Gate Golf Course while on vacation in San Francisco. We found it to be a nice, well maintained and challenging little course. They recently renovated all the tee boxes, so you'll be playing from temporary ones for a while, but still worth the visit.
