Lincoln Park is a beautiful spot that overlooks the Marin Headlands and the Golden Gate Bridge. The Palace of the Legion of Honor is right up the hill, as well.
There are trails to hike, tiled stairs to climb (if you so desire), and a glimpse of an old Chinese tomb from when the area was a large cemetery. The bar with so many excellent beers on tap is a treat. Very casual and it has easy parking and a very clean facility. Lunch stops at 3PM. Their once a month Prime Rib dinners is worth doing. Out on the course the starter was great, funny, and informative. The course itself was in very good shape, the greens were a bit soft, but nothing to complain about. Did not play golf but did admire the landscaping and the interesting design on the slopes of the park. Some players used carts and some walked with their clubs. We got a great comfortable SUV and got to see all the great parts of the park.
