- Thomas VOakland, CA19,064 contributionsA huge convention center that has been expanded over the years. This center transformed a former urban renewal area where most of the buildings had been torn down leaving big open spaces. Now all has been filled in with the big low buildings of the center, plus lots of hotels and services around. When there is a convention on, the area gets crowded and some streets are shut down creating traffic snarls.Written 2 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pauly-101Glasgow, UK486 contributionsFirst visit to the Cow Palace for us for AEW Dynamite. Great show but the staff seemed confused on seating info so a bit of chaos before things got started. This didn’t seem limited to our section so it was a tad messy. That aside, really enjoyable night.Written 26 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Allison RSan Francisco, CA31 contributionsWe went to the Presidio Officer's Club museum today and it was fantastic. We are locals and I couldn't believe we had never been there before! There's an amazing museum that tells the history of the Presidio (currently open on Saturdays only from 11 AM-4 PM).
Steve, our guide, was a veteran who had actually worked in the building back when it was a US military club. He was full of knowledge and interesting anecdotes. We loved chatting with him. The Andy Goldsworthy "Earth Wall" artwork was also amazing to see at the museum. Highly recommend a visit- we will be back. Also, it's free!Written 12 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Adam Swig E1 contributionI love this bar! Secret spot in San Francisco. Locked door, need to ring the bell and be let in. Cool bartenders ! Good food! Strong drinks! Dogs welcome, great for groups big and small, heard they have trivia and karaoke , I’ll definitely be back! I wanna have a party here !Written 8 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Angela3950Eureka, CA1,539 contributionsGreat place to hold a symposium or group event, with an elevated stage for speakers, presenters or a band. The back wall is decorated with murals, the bathrooms are spacious & beautifully decorated. The adjoining bar area is, likewise, large and inviting. Everything feels new but with that vintage vibe that comes along with a building housed by the Verdi Club since 1935.Written 30 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
