This is a good night club venue to see a concert. It is intimate so you get to sit up close to the performer. Choose one that appeals to you, do your research if you are not familiar with their work. If you don't like the performer, you will not like the venue.

We saw David Facer at the San Francisco Magic Parlor at the Chancellor Hotel, not knowing quite what to expect. He presents a show on paradox, mixing nicely done basic magic tricks (linking rings, cards, coins etc) with performance art - he creates strange, colorful characters (a mechanical man with very cool lights, a "dream dweller", etc) while engaging the audience (it's a small room and he invites several to help with the tricks). He is very likable and skilled and we enjoyed the one-man show.

The Grace Cathedral was opposite my hotel, so I had no excuse not to visit.
The style of architecture seemed reassuringly familiar and reminded me of Gothic cathedrals back home in England.
A beautiful space inside full of calm and peace to escape the hustle and bustle outside. I thoroughly recommend a visit here.

We saw the Lily Dare show and loved it! It was funny and camp and the lead has a wonderfully expressive face. There were times that I felt like we were watching Carol Burnett in action! The entire cast was committed and really felt their passion.

The lobby and refreshment staff were helpful and cute! And the drinks were not too expensive and lots of variety.

Street parking was easy and close by! It was a great experience...would definitely go again.

Such a cool, historic old theater in San Francisco. If you get a chance to see something here, you will not be disappointed!

The Resting Place was absolutely incredible! The playwright, Ashlin Halfnight, did a fantastic job creating a story that tackles such difficult subject matter. The actors brought so much life and empathy to these characters. Go see this beautiful show!

I am glad I went to actually get the experience. Overall, I thought it would be a « more organized » audio recording if I may say. It is more experimental then I had imagined. Maybe I am just not the audience for it.

Besides the fact that it’s free, this music event is truly wonderful! Several stages, an amazing venue and highly enjoyable atmosphere. I understand this year had much more intense security however it did not intrude on the good times. One very important recommendation- do not come by auto, taxi, Lyft or Uber. Avoid the traffic jams; take public transportation then walk or ride a bicycle.

We found this randomly and it was a great surprise. The size of the theater was quaint and not a bad seat in the house. The crowd was small so Sebastian was very good about involving everyone. His show was very engaging and entertaining. I was impressed with his magical abilities to connect with the audience.

This was such a fun experience. Everyone feels involved and part of this interactive show. The cast is absolutely delightful. We set up my husband as a suspect and he really was shocked by it. It was great! Can't say enough about this show!!
