- Thomas VOakland, CA19,054 contributionsA very pretty park in a very upscale part of town. We used to have a friend who had an apartment on the park with a great terrace overlooking the park, and we had brunch on his terrace many times. The views are superb and the park is used by neighborhood residents walking their dogs or just looking for some local green space. Very peaceful and clean.Written 5 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Bonnie SChilliwack, Canada1,433 contributionsWhat a fun area for the kids. I have never seen a slide quite like the one here. - ge0fflisaNew Zealand73 contributionsWe are from NZ and have some pretty good playgrounds but this one was really fun for kids to burn off some energy despite being too old for some of the equipment - lovely clean and next to a big set of courtsWritten 12 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TooMuch2DoLaguna Niguel, CA467 contributionsIf you are walking to or from Bernal Heights Park on the Mission St side, walk up Esmeralda Street. Tucked into the landscaping is a steep narrow park with a double sliding board half a block long. It's fun even for adults. The slide is fast but you can slow yourself down using the sides of your shoes to increase friction.Written 19 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas VOakland, CA19,054 contributionsThis is a nice park downtown and next to Chinatown. We passed by here on our way to lunch and I noted that there were quite a few people here on a sunny day. - 1GiantsMSoSedona, AZ1,195 contributionsPlayed here as a kid and what a difference. Everything is clean with lots of interesting art and trails to explore. No longer a place to be afraid. Sculptures seem to pop out at you like at an old fun house. Very entertaining. Lots of parking available nearby. Can be a bit noisy with freeway and Bart nearby.Written 27 June 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- WillieMacfanHealdsburg, CA975 contributionsGrew up in San Francisco and never knew about this park. Likely unless you live in the residential neighborhood surrounding this park you would have no idea about it. That said looking thru neighborhood sights, I decided to look for this park and discovered a serene natural setting.
Park has a children's playground which is protected by a low cyclone fence from animals, two nicely maintained tennis courts and both paved and unpaved paths around the park. There are two level green space areas one at the top and one at the bottom. Use of park could be improved with a few picnic tables (there are none so bring blankets to spread out or your own portable tables. Park is off 12th Avenue in the Sunset District. Dogs are allowed on leash; though an impolite couple had three dogs off-leash.
Views from the park are limited due to foliage.Written 19 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - miniFremont, CA2,12,078 contributionsThis is a very fun playground. We loved going there.
