What travellers are saying
- Thomas VOakland, CA19,421 contributionsThis lovely body of water is in our back yard. We cross it many times on the bridges and I love to look out at the view. Lots of places to see the Bay, but now there is a very long Bay Trail that runs along it in many of the cities that line the Bay. It is also a center of commerce with several big ports, especially at Oakland. One of the best natural harbors in North America.Written 1 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EdwelshNorth Canton, OH7,407 contributionsThere’s a 5 mile paved trail around the lake. Beautiful area to walk and take in the view. There seems to be plenty of parking, it’s fairly level and of course, plenty of dogs.Written 29 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ElvisAndrusArlington, TX982 contributionsWe were walking by and we sat down and hung out for 45 minutes or more. Peaceful and serene so welcome in the midst of a wonderful but crowded city.Written 18 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Double "Ollie" WinnerRiverside, CA2,459 contributionsThe bay itself isn't much and the long causeway-bridge certainly doesn't rival those that enter the city proper. But if you're willing to drive 15-30 minutes, the hotels here are nice and about half the cost.Written 3 December 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CAMusicMomSan Diego, CA65 contributionsStopped for a few more Utes to view the lake area with gentlemen sailing their remote controlled motorized toy boats. Very unique to watch the fancy toys the men had out on the water.Written 26 February 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
