Our tour guide, Patrick, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic which made every point of the tour very fun and enjoyable! He shared many stories of the city, the culture, the history, and so much more that made our first visit to SF very interesting! I highly recommend if it is your first time coming here and need activities to do! Started off at the south gate in Chinatown and proceeded to a local park where we ate Korean "meat buns" - delicious and surprisingly sweet to some degree. Our guide was a local writer who provided many fascinating bit of trivia on our four hour walk through the two districts, ending in North Beach/Little Italy. Along the way we sampled dim sum, chocolates, Chinese entrees, tea-tasting from a true expert, grilled sandwiches and finally wine and pizza. Don't eat before this tour or you'll definitely be stuffed by the end! The SUV was very comfortable and air conditioned. The driver was very good.
But, we got a driver, not a guide and that’s what we paid for.
Mr. Singh was fair and refunded most of the extra money we paid. He is reputable.
The views were gorgeous. I was the “tour guide” and we enjoyed the park and had a good time. I really give it 3 1/2 stars which is a good rating because it worked out for us. Oh! I headed to pick up my bike where I was met by an awesome staff member less than an hour after booking. The staff member was very helpful and made sure I had everything I needed for the day and I set off. I myself got a little turned around and I contacted the tour company to get help, and they responded very quickly and got my problem fixed right away. Upon returning my bike they made sure I had a good time and checking everything back in was super fast and easy. If you’re looking for a group to do the Alcatraz tour and you want freedom to do your own thing as well. - Devyani VPune, India5 contributionsThese were 2 separate tours. Morning was San Francisco city tour and afternoon was Muir woods and Sausalito tour.
Its a good way to explore the places in a short time. I liked both legs of the tour though Muir woods was better as we could explore the places on our own.
San Francisco city tour was basically about driving around the city and stopping for a few photo stops. One can take this half day tour to get an idea of the city and then explore on their own.

The food he had us sample was excellent and a wide variety... from Peking Duck to fortune cookies. While the tour is 3 hours, it flew by and there were plenty of places to stop and rest and to use the facilities if need be.
