What travellers are saying
- JimmyABartReading, UK49 contributionsAmazing Experience.
My family and I swam from Alcatraz island to Aquatic Park on August 29th 2022.
My son was 16 my wife and I, 48. None of us are brilliant swimmers but we did do some pool and open water training so we weren't complete novices.
Coach Kathy was great with helping me get organised on to a group booking so there were 20 of us in total (we tagged along with a group of ex Navy Seals....)
A cold, wet and choppy Friday morning, walking in our wetsuits, boots and gloves from Hotel Caza to North Pier - what a funny sight we must have been...
But then we were on the boat and on our way to just off Alcatraz island.
No time to think, just jump in and keep swimming. It was surprisingly warm but really choppy so we slowly made our way across the bay to Aquatic Park. Probably didn't break any world records but we did it.
What a fantastic experience. Thanks Coach Kathy and Water World Swim, you helped make the Barter family US trip a holiday of a lifetime.Written 26 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This class was exactly what I needed and was looking for. She is very organized with her presentation in teaching step by step of shooting in the manual mode, from aperture, shutter speeds, ISO etc. I now understand the basics of my camera, its functions, and really excited to practice what I have learned. She made the class fun, has a wealth of knowledge, clear in her explanations, and passion for photography. I look forward to taking the next class of the Walk and hopefully there after the Lightroom class for post production. I highly recommend this studio and Lindsay if you are ready to learn more about photography and how to use your camera.Written 5 March 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - charles lFort Myers, FL8 contributionsWe traveled to San Fran,, Napa and Yosemite Park the week of Oct 1-8. The most relaxing and and fun place for me was The Cheese School. We noticed the blackboard outside and decided to check it out. The atmosphere and views were great. The music track was great for background, and the cheese board and wine were excellent. Topped off with the friendly and knowledgeable staff its a must.
If you want great food and wine and a trendy cool vibe its a must on the to visit list.Written 14 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The event was very well organised, the chefs were accommodating, experienced and very helpful and we all had a great time. They accommodated all skill levels and dietary requirements. Jordan was a little off with me when I asked to try something that wasn't on my menu and he never did give me my non-alcoholic drink but it was all in good humour and I'd still go back. The food was simply fantastic. everything we made and ate was sublime. If you are considering this place, don't think twice just go for it.Written 5 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GenioDellaLampadaRome, Italy4 contributionsMeghna was absolutely great: we immediately felt like friends, learned about the cuisine but also tips and tricks on how to actually make the dishes at home, had fun interacting with the rest of our small group class, and ended eating the delicious food we made. Will definitely recommend to others!Written 5 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Nicole2 contributionsThis was the best cooking class I’ve taken, and I’ve taken a ton. Very authentic and a wonderful teacher. We made pad Thai and it was delicious. Sunshine walked us through every step and sent us the exact ingredients to get. It’s an amazing deal and we’ve already booked 2 more classes!! Can’t recommend high enough.Written 25 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- LmesserliCloverdale11 contributionsMy sister-in-law and I took Cat’s SF Sourdough class and had such a great time! Cat takes you through the entire process and makes it very understandable. We learned about the starter, proofing, shaping, scoring, baking and then eating a giant feast at the end of the class! So much fun! Such great information and handouts. Definitely recommend!!Written 21 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
