The staff is very helpful for first-timers. He's helped relieved soreness and pain in my body. I go to him regularly. - PowownSan Francisco, CA4 contributionsWhat can I say about this place? This is taught by a Black Black, Professor Colhado, who is Brazilian, whose linage goes back to Helio Gracie and has been in Competitive Jiu-Jitsu competitions, and also in the MMA arena!
Professor Colhado teaches both practical Jiu Jitsu that can be and have used he Jiu Jitsu in the streets of Brazil to save his life. He also teaches and referees Jiu Jitsu competitions if your Jiu Jitsu game is more competition orientated.
The people here at this gym is amazing! They will methodically teach you step by step, to the best of their knowledge, on how to do their best technique. The people don't mind sharing their secrets! A rarity when training in the Art of Jiu Jitsu.
Best of all this gym is located in the Sunset where you can actually find parking in San Francisco. Then after the gym you can walk down on Taraval St where some publications have named it dumpling row!
