Really a local’s bar with a fabulous piano karaoke on a Sunday night. The bar is very welcoming and reasonably priced.

- JohnAlbuquerque, NM8 contributionsI love this place! No trip to SF would be valid without a long stop at the Lone Star Saloon. Great staff, "real men" and little attitude. - NelsonMadison, WI65 contributionsI stayed the night in Fisherman's Wharf. I was looking for an easy way to get to the Castro area. The Metro was just the ticket. I had the all week pass so it really cost me nothing. Easy to use, reasonable and come and go as you please. This really worked out well and I'd really recommend this to get to Castro. Good Luck!Written 1 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Jon HSan Francisco, CA430 contributionsI just enjoyed a visit to The Stud, which has been a beating heart of San Francisco since 1966, immortalized by Armisted Maupin ten years later, when Michael Tolliver brought Brian here.
