:( If you are looking for something different than Waikiki or Lanikai Beaches, I highly recommend making the trip North.
Mokuleia Beach Park is a great beach for relaxing and watching kite surfers or sky divers and gliders which take off from across the street at the small airport.

Beautiful beaches surrounded by sprouting from the sapphire sea volcanic mountains .
Definitely, a must go to beach if you are a beginner surfer over any other beach because the waves at the other beaches are best left for experienced surfers.

One of countless beautiful beaches in Hawaii with the added extra of seeing often several sea turtles on the beach.
Plus, the sand beaches are gorgeous and there is plenty of space to lay out and enjoy the sun!

Most of the beaches in the area had giant waves and our kids weren't really comfortable swimming in the giant waves.
Like I said these two beaches are the best snorkeling I my opinion.. parking can be tight depending on the day and weather.

On each end of Pupukea Beach Park (view panorama) lie two small pocket beaches within the rocks – Shark's Cove and Three Tables.
We had a group of nine of us at the beach and everyone was super polite around us. the view is beautiful and if you walk down the road a little the snorkeling is awesome.

Frequented by few, it is much more private than the ether known beaches on the highway.
We took the long route trekking across the beach from the east in the midday sun (we met a basking honu en route).
