We have been to Hawaii a few times and decided to do this tour again. We were met by. Chris and started our tour going straight up to the north shore to photograph the surfers at the Pipeline and recharging with a croissant and coffee along the way. The stop at Waimea valley was great with a winding, longish walk to the waterfalls. Here you can loan a life jacket and slip into the water and swim to the waterfall. The falls may be small, but it is still good to photograph and enjoy. CHris found some lovely spots on the way back to the van to photograph, including a lovely Japanese steps and gardens hidden away. The geckos are also lovely, but you need to hunt a bit to photograph them. We stopped for lunch at the food trucks which offer various international cuisines, and although there were fewer trucks than normal there was still plenty to choose from. We were also introduced to a few of Chris secret photo locations and good landscape views along the way which was lovely. All in all a long but beautiful day and a tour I would remember fondly and would definitely recommend.
