Very nice and clean beach. There are also restrooms and a shower nearby. There is also a beautiful mountain view and its a great spot for snorkelling.

I ordered the kalua pork pizza and my wife ordered the origami pizza. We both enjoyed our pizzas. I also ordered the buffalo chicken dip and my wife got fries which were both alright. The server did tell us the cola was coke but it definitely wasn’t Coke and we think it was the local cola. We went for happy hour and the prices were right and the service was good. I’d go back again, although I would give monkeypod pizzas a slight edge. Was a long wait for happy hour, approx 40 minutes but ended up getting a table for happy hour.

Stayed at the Maui coast hotel and this beach park was walking distance. Very clean beach, very walkable and very cool seeing all the swank houses near the beach. Relaxing area. Very safe

Don't let the small building fool you, this was an excellent way to spend a couple of hours, packed full of information about the Hawaiian Humpback Whale and the Hawaiian culture. We were greeted by Volunteer Joseph who you can tell is excited to share his knowledge about both above mentioned subjects. Don't forget to spend some time on the deck viewing the sunbathing Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles that are resting on the lava rock walls of the man-made fishing pond. This is a free experience and so nicely done, it's worth it to make a donation on your way out.

Quite outstanding long beach to walk. There are few people on the beach although some are there for family gatherings and fishing. A bit of a rough water compared to the beaches along Kihei but way less crowded and no less beautiful for a walk or a swim

We loved this spot. It was recommended to us by locals on our honeymoon in 2018 and all of our trips we have returned to it daily. Perfect stretch of beach for relaxing and relatively calm waves.

A blessed day, as a family visiting our 50th state over the Christmas 2024 holiday season, we celebrated the birthday of Christ at St. Theresa Parish in Kihei, Maui. It was the friendliest upbeat moment which renewed our faith in this glorious day. The choir was phenomenal, as we were entering the church, we were greeted by the sound of Bing Crosby’s Mele Kalikimaka rocking out on the drums, guitars, ukulele & keyboard, while the pure joy of the vocals sang along. The mass played all the traditional Christmas Choir songs and it was an absolute pleasure to experience the happiness from the congregation, whom were moved by the presence of the spirit felt. The priest had a very powerful and beautiful message of being at peace with in ourselves / our families / communities and the greater world, regardless of the circumstances that occur outside of our control. Our presence to remain faithful in our daily existence and be there for our community was touched on and supported in remembrance of their loss in Old Lahaina in August 2023. With the wonderful people of the community of Kihei, we celebrated the remembrance of this Holy Day of the birth of Jesus Christ💖🙏🏼🌺

Post checkout from hotel , we went to the cove and it was too good, beautiful. Must see. Small cove, water splashing to heights, clean water. Saw 2 marriages happen there.

Beach was pretty narrow but pretty, some rocks along the coast so wear appropriate footwear. Boardwalk was nicely maintained. Probably due to time of year there was not many birds in the estuary area, but we saw a few white (herons?) along the road.

He did not steer me wrong. The huge papaya he told me was the best was amazing. And the mangoes! The absolute best I have ever had. Try the Golden Glow mangoes.

Talks on the Humpback whale are offered here. It was informative and the center is free. They have a porch where you can look out to the ocean and see turtles sunbathing on the beach. The volunteers are well informed. This is a free venue with hands on activities for children.
