Princeville Botanical Gardens, located in the North Shore, was well maintained and offered so many varieties of trees, plants, flowers, fruits, you name it! You will pass waterfalls, and beautiful streams. Quaint bridges and overlooks. We had an awesome guide who came prepared with various fruits ready for us to taste along the way. She was very knowledgeable about the gardens, as well as what was native to Kauai or brought over from other countries. The international chocolate tasting was very fun and informative, not to mention yummy (or not so much)! Most of the chocolate can be purchased in the gift shop, except for our favorite, which was the local Kauai chocolate (due to low supply of the cocoa bean). I highly recommend this Botanical Garden tour.

Such a fun, muddy, slippery hike to get there. definitely bring extra water to rinse your feet or shoes when you get back to the car! We jumped in and took advantage of how neat the queens bath was.

All the beaches on Kaui are really nice. The north shore is rough, but that's what makes it so beautiful.

Beautiful location. Arrive early, it can get a little crowded especially in the busy season. Green sea turtles are often found relaxing on the beach & swimming in the clear water.

So, go here for the Foodland store if nothing else. Way better than Big Save down in Hanalei. Also, check out the Kon Tiki bar, fun atmosphere though lacking ocean view. Ice cream, a couple of souvenir shops, and, when you need something, an Ace Hardware store. It’s really the only commercial space in Princeville - we stopped every day on the way back from the beach.

This trail was a bit challenging, first the creek crossing (may be more difficult if water is high), and the trail along the ledge, with some boulder climbing at the end. Easy for some, more challenging for others. Once you cross the creek, turn left onto the trail, do not go toward the cliff, it is dangerous. Right now (Feb 13), 2022) the trail has a tree laying across it. Beach is made up of crushed shell and coral more than sand. Good snorkeling, but coral is sharp. Good shade if needed.

Enjoyed going down here better than Queens Bath. It was drier the rocks were easy to walk on the cave is huge. Be careful walking. We wore our water shoes going down and it was easy, you had some grip at least. You still have to be careful. Being in some shape helps because you may have to use the rope or the rocks to pull yourself up.

We had been looking for a piece of local art to commemorate our wedding in Koloa. We'd searched through the 'high end' tourist art galleries, and throughout the roadside markets. Fish Eye Kauai's art offerings were eye catching, through their storefront window - as we strolled past on the sidewalk. Glad to have found this studio and Abe Kowitz' koa wood art. We would have loved to buy 10 more pieces, it's just that gorgeous, along with all the underwater photography on display. The gal who was working that day was helpful with tips for preserving and transporting our piece.

my wife and I enjoyed an hour lesson with cg.He filmed us and we watched our rather pathetic efforts. After some gently phrased suggestions for improvement we tried again and guess what...he knows what he's talking about. A censored word can only be polished so much but he steered us in the right direction and I've been working on his advise since then.

We e-mailed the company and received a response right away. We were able to set up a hike very quickly that fit into our timetable. Our guide, Tom, gave us three hiking options and we chose the more challenging of the three and were not disappointed! Tom made the adventurous hike enjoyable! He continuously pointed out things of interest throughout the hike! When we reached the waterfall it was beautiful and worth the challenge! We definitely recommend Hike Kauai With Me and our guide Tom! We will definitely plan to book with them on our next Kauai trip!

Yass!!! I only do yoga every once in a while but I was able to jump in and follow right along. Great way to wake up and you can’t beat the views. Instructor seems very experienced and a natural at her craft. I will definitely be going again.

This was one of our best experiences while in Hawaii. We started off in the morning with Craig explaining his experience in Marine Biology, then he showed us how the gear worked. Compared to others snorkeling trips i’ve had this one was the most hands on and in depth then others. Craig took his time explaining how the snorkels work, as well as explaining how to snorkel, which surprisingly most other snorkeling places don’t. When we walked down to the beach, we went over many fish we could see, and we ended up seeing most. He asked if we wanted him to take pictures of us, which I highly recommend. The pictures came out spectacular. While snorkeling we saw an arrangement of beautiful fish, and when we went to where the turtles feed, we were able to get so close to the turtles. The pictures of us with the turtles are amazing. This is the only place we will be visiting again here in Kauai. From the thoughtfulness and kindness, this tour is one of the best.

We wanted to rent boards and we quickly and easily made reservations the afternoon before online. Nico dropped by our airbnb with two high quality boards the next morning and we had 2 great days surfing Hanalei bay. Supplied us with the softrack and some wax for the boards. Highly recommended!
