- MomRoccoChicago, IL546 contributionsWe picked up the path in Williams Bay and as others have noted, it is maintained very well in some places and poorly in others. While on it a man sitting in an Adirondack chair on his lawn near the path commented that he hoped he was seeing two Trump supporters walking on his path, which seemed unnecessarily confrontational given his lawn was full of Trump signs. Anyhow, we were on the path for about an hour as opposed to those who were trying to do the complete loop. It was a beautiful day and the views of the lakefront and fall colors were great.Written 29 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Laura L1 contributionThe Safari was a wonderful and memorable experience! The staff were very positive and friendly. The animals seemed to be well-taken care of and “happy.” Even the giraffes and zebras were galloping around. Very neat to see!Written 25 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- tarit1979Gurugram (Gurgaon), India246 contributionsThe beach is happening place during summers and you can spend hours lazing about or in the water. It gets crowded during the afternoons so best way is to reserve your spot early in the morning. There is a 10$ entry fee but it is worth it. Get along some beach toys if going with kids.Written 5 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TYPSUKRArlington, VA729 contributionsCame here on a Wednesday afternoon in August. After paying the admission fee at the self-service pay station, we first ate lunch at one of the picnic areas in the park. They had some tables in the shade, which made it enjoyable. While there were some flush toilets throughout the park, the facilities in this picnic area were simple latrines (i.e. gravity toilets). After eating lunch, we then went on a nature walk, first through a prairie/meadow, and then finishing up through some forested areas and ponds, closer to the lake shore. You can access the lakeshore from the park, but you have to cross the main road to get there (we didn't do that).Written 11 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Navigator1551594090024 contributionsMy nephew had his wedding at the Geneva National and it was a great event. The ceremony was held outside, luckily the weather was great, and then cocktails were served. Dinner was served in the banquet hall and everything was perfect. We are very happy for Chris and Jen!! Brunch was served the next day at the Cottle Ranch, along with drinks.Written 18 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GolferGirlAnneGlendale Heights, IL3 contributionsWe had a great day on Lake Geneva thanks to Marina Bay Boat Rentals! Reserving the boat online was really easy, and the staff was so friendly when we arrived. The Bayliner boat we rented was in great shape and very clean. We cannot wait to go back!Written 24 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Bunny77Chicago, IL170 contributionsWe wanted our daughters to ride ponies for the first time and visit the free petting zoo.
It worked out great we arrived and we bought some food so the girls could feed the animals it was .50 cents for an ice cream cone filled with food. We bought 2 bucks worth and the girls really enjoyed themselves. They then rode the ponies which they truly enjoyed it was $8 dollars per ride.Written 30 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
