Walking the lakeshore path around Lake Geneva is the best way to experience all of the scenery, beautiful homes, the lake, and gorgeous landscaping. It takes between 9 to 11 hours to hike the whole lake. Be sure to allow extra time if you stop to eat at any of the restaurants along the way. Also to note that bathrooms are limited. The path is different depending on how the individual owners want to create the path in front of their property. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes or hiking boots.

If you don't want to hike the whole lake, you may do sections of it. Please know that some areas have private roads, and you will need to access the path by public areas. Williams Bay is a good place to get on the path as there is free parking across from the beach area.

Very laid back place. Ideal for just chillin. Restaurants and Shopping close by. Walking around was pleasant experience.

Clean restrooms up the stairs and across the lawn. Sandy bottom near the shore. Has 2 piers to swim out and jump off. Did not see any food or drink for sale in immediate area.

Came here on a Wednesday afternoon in August. After paying the admission fee at the self-service pay station, we first ate lunch at one of the picnic areas in the park. They had some tables in the shade, which made it enjoyable. While there were some flush toilets throughout the park, the facilities in this picnic area were simple latrines (i.e. gravity toilets). After eating lunch, we then went on a nature walk, first through a prairie/meadow, and then finishing up through some forested areas and ponds, closer to the lake shore. You can access the lakeshore from the park, but you have to cross the main road to get there (we didn't do that).

Lake Geneva has many outstanding parks for people but it also has an excellent park for your four legged friends. The Four Seasons Dog Park is a cleverly hidden park near the city limits. I’m thinking this is just another gem the locals want to keep for themselves to the detriment of out of town visitors traveling with their bowsers. This formerly virtually unknown area is an excellent place to unleash your dog(s) and let them run free in a treed acreage with meanandering grass and wild flower lined trails fenced in by split rail fencing. There’s a pond and a picnic shelter on site. An entrance sign with an off road parking area help first time visitors locate the park. In the interest of full disclosure, the park has a boardwalk that extends into a marsh area that needs attention. Several of the planks need to be replaced to allow the park users to get out closer to view the natural beauty of the park. Your pets will thank you for venturing out to this site. Dogs like chasing each other within the park. It sure is a lot better then walking them around a hotel lot while on a lease.

This site offers two Bocce Ball courts on a small residential lot, in a quiet neighborhood. The Courts are in decent condition, but there is no equipment rental (or other facilities of any kind). You will need to bring your own bocce ball equipment.

Located just up the hill to the east of downtown, this offers a free activity in a city where things can be sometimes pricey.

The facility has on street residential parking and is first come first serve.
