What travellers are saying
- feenix21Huntington, WV2 contributionsHeritage Farm is a local wonder for Huntington. It's a versatile experience that is suitable for ALL ages. The full experience wouldn't be complete without some of their bike trails, and ziplining, but the entire place is so immersive and wonderful.
Every building takes you through the world from a new perspective! You could spend days wandering around, learning everything there is to learn in the museums. There is so much worth learning within this community about the history of West Virginia.
During our self-guided tour, we had the pleasure of experiencing some fantastic musical talent in the church, informative conversation with guides, and up-close and personal experiences with live animals.
With a playground and entire building dedicated to young minds, it's a great place to bring your kids or plan a field trip!
As for food within the farm, they have a versatile list of options. You truly can't go wrong with any of it!
For me, the parking situation is always a concern. Parking at Heritage Farm is so easy! There's plenty of space, even on a busy summer day.Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I stopped just for the rose garden, which was worth the stop.
Having a horticultural background, I like to see gardens. The rose garden at Ritter Park is not very big, but it is well maintained. They had a nice variety, well laid out. The garden is level. The walkways are made of paver bricks, so it seems like it would be wheelchair friendly. If you like gardens, especially rose gardens, and are "in the neighborhood," I would recommend a visit.Written 29 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Loved the Chihuly piece and the art collections, but seeing the axolotls was my favorite! Great little gift shop. If I had visited here earlier, I would have set aside time to find some Blenko glass to purchase. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area.Written 14 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- brez00Springfield, VA318 contributionsWonderful historic venue. Enjoyed being present for my niece’s medical school graduation as a member of the Marshall Univ School of Medicine, class of 2023.

There are a number of novelty items that I had never seen before as well. I have never seen a collection like this anywhere. Two hours was just scratching the surface of what was there.Written 23 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dustythoughtsManchester, CT2,128 contributionsI went for a walk around this square after having dinner, and had a pleasant evening. There are several restaurants and shoppes bordering the square and a nice fountain in the middle, which adds a soothing element on hot days.Written 16 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pamela.D3 contributionsIt was awesome! They need more parks though. They got rid of my kid’s favorite one. It is awesome because they have one of the only skate parks.Written 19 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lisa VWarsaw, IN171 contributionsThis is my 2nd game here. First one was on a visit on a very cold day. At this most recent game I sat in the student section, ticket prices were reasonable. And the view was ok. The breeze way up there was good and much needed. It’s great that this is downtown, and let me tell you come early!!! I arrived downtown 2 1/2 hours before game time, and it was too late, had to park almost to the soccer stadium. It’s nice because there is lots to do and see while you wait, tailgating was fun and most everyone was friendly. Police everywhere, and I felt very safe walking alone back to my car as my friends were smart and came at noon for a 6:30 game. Restaurants and bars were packed also, so be prepared. It was a clean stadium for the most part, the bathrooms were older but still maintained well. If you’re around this is something to see for sure. Whole town comes out for the Herd!!Written 1 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SUNILDASWANEYSharjah, United Arab Emirates626 contributionsHUNTINGTON MALL is a very spacious and tastefully made MALL with ample amount of parking space and where the customer can go through same in a very relaxed fashion without feeling congested. Although this mall has a variety of shops/stores it has further been enhanced with the presence of MACY'S and JC PENNEY which is a huge positive. All in all a good place to visitWritten 12 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jgbtravelsLouisville, KY3,642 contributionsIt actually seems somewhat out of place in the antique shopping district. Still it’s nice to have gourmet food items in Huntington. Since we were just traveling through the area checking out the antique shops we took a peek in here. Sure, it’s a bit pricey and perhaps it’s a place to shop for those special holiday gatherings and other special occasions. Although we didn’t purchase anything we thought that they had some interesting pasta selections that looked tempting.Written 25 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - colombiajanSaint Albans, WV195 contributionsI had been looking forward to taking my grand children to Camden Park. The kids had a good time and it did bring back some memories. The park is Iconic, however, it was disappointing to see that the park needs a lot of work. The bathrooms are very rundown and need repair. The arcade was closed and I was really looking forward to playing skee ball. The carousel was not running. The drink machines did not work and we lost $4 trying to use them since there was no sign on them. We rented a table in the picnic area so that was nice. I hope they will put some work into upgrading the park.Written 29 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
