Saw the Mountain Goats here. The theatre is beautiful and the staff are well trained and very friendly. The acoustics aren't great for rock music. I actually didn't recognize several songs I knew because the sound tops out and the lyrics are hard to understand except during the solo, acoustic set.

What makes this good size town stand out, is the location on the beautiful Spokane river. Many walking trails along the river, and very dramatic waterfalls.

We toured the campus and had the opportunity to speak with several students. We were very impressed! Beautiful art installations and a serene open grotto area for prayer.

Fun night at the ballpark, although the Spokane Indians lost the game. (They'll get 'em next time.) Tons of local support from the community. The ballpark food (hotdogs, peanuts and ice cream) was good. Nice to see the partnership between the local Native American tribes and the team. The between inning games were silly and fun. Loved "Ribby the Redband Trout" team mascot and his funny (spawning?) dance!

First at night this imposing structure is over the top. Inside is a steam punks dream. The place is an old power station that was re-done and turned into a museum, brewery, bar and in between. I have never seen a place like this. Food was very good. Beer was very good. What not to like. Must see!!!

This beautiful Gothic church is located just a few minutes from downtown. It's worth a walk around the grounds just to marvel at the architecture. The church is open for service but if you would like a tour of the church you must call for an appointment. Website for more info is: stjohns-cathedral.org

Doors were locked, but the groundskeeper let us in. The stained glass is spectacular. Worth a 30 minute visit.

On the Gonzaga campus, this little nugget has memorabilia and stories from his childhood thru to his success. The docents have a lot of information about him, his family, and the area where the house sits.

Eastern Washington University graduation at the arena was easy to get to and all the seats seemed good. There weren’t many places inside that were open for food or coffee, but it was nice.

This a good highway but should be 4 lanes from Kettle Falls to Spokane and the speed limit should be 70 mph and truck speed is 60 mph

Very well done with details you discover as you walk thru. Parking was a bit of an issue and traffic crossing the street you have to pay attention to. Monies well spent for the tired building it once was. Have fond memories of high school reference department help with college prep. Good job Directors of the Library.

The Spokane River valley is a beautiful place, and one of the jewels connected to it is the Munroe Street Bridge. It's beautiful to look at, but it's also a beautiful way to cross from one part of the valley to another, to check out each side. The downtown has so many wonderful older buildings, this bridge fits right in.

This is the cutest little church tucked away in down town Spokane. Visited for easter mass and have to say its been here since 1909 and the warm inviting inside old wood arches inside make it feel like home. The alter was adorned with Lilly's and the priest was so nice. Remember its not how big a place is that makes it great.
