- unitynatVictoria, Canada18 contributionsBasic rooms, great location. Best location if unable to stay at the Sivananda ashram. There is a wide variety of rooms at this place. All of them are clean and sparsely furnished with hard cotton pads as mattresses. Prices vary from six hundred to over two thousand rupees per night depending on whether you want private bath , shower , air conditioning , river view. Unfortunately the staff is hard to pin down on prices and room availability. They regularly move people around. They lock the gates in so you cannot get out before 6 AM.. The estimate classes are very popular. I had room 105 which had a Riverview, balcony and a private bath for 650 per Night. AC was not necessary in October. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Virtually all of the guests are Westerners.Written 12 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Words can’t describe how amazing this experience is, I’ve had my TTC 200 hours with Om Shanti on yoga school, rooms are clean, food is great, all teachers give their interest to students. I am very happy that I chose this school. Thank you for all the guidance 🌸Written 2 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The teachers are excellent and very attentive. They genuinely love sharing their knowledge, and you can truly feel it. The food is incredibly good and very well-balanced.

What I loved most about this program is the dedication to providing an authentic teaching of Hatha yoga and sattvic lifestyle. I can imagine that that’s not everyone’s cup of tea, however it was exactly what I was looking for personally. Besides the high quality of the actual teachings/ classes, I really enjoyed the fact that uniforms were required and we stuck to a sattvic/ ayurvedic diet during the course. For me, it really added to the teaching and allowed you to immerse yourself better into the yogic lifestyle, which I found to be very valuable. The food was really delicious and nourishing. Although the rooms were basic, the Ashram and its surroundings were really serene and a perfect environment to do a program like this. I think it’s truly so much better than doing your TTC within the hustle and bustle of Tapovan, which has so many distractions and disturbances. The teachers Vini and Tina are also so knowledgeable about yoga and were truly great teachers, I really enjoyed being their student. All in all, if you’re looking for a high quality, no BS Hatha yoga TTC, I can highly recommend this one!Written 19 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Yvonne SAmsterdam, The Netherlands27 contributionsIt was a wonderful experience to be in a yoga teacher training here. Experienced and knowledgeable teachers, beautiful environment and a very good program to learn hatha, vinyasa and embodied yoga as well as pranayama and chanting. - Archit3 contributionsI had a very good experience. Me and my wif attended outdoor meditation sessions, detox, yoga, mantra chanting, and pranayama and also intense indoor meditation classes. I can vouch for the quality of teachings and also their hospitality was too good to be true. I have going back again for a while now. I have benefitted greatly. As I type this I am still continuing to do yoga at home after the course ends because I understood it too well!Written 1 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nomad146311692081 contributionVery few people are so true to the spirit and essence of yoga. In a world where most schools are like refined sugar - without substance albeit sweet, Yoganga is like sugarcane juice - wholesome all the way. I had a great time in the pranyama retreat and I learnt a lot. I feel my perspective has widened and cleared. I recommend Yoganga Healing to all who wish to go deeper into yoga.Written 24 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Manda RPunta Gorda, FL12 contributionsGreat experience! As a first time solo traveler to India from the US, I felt very comfortable staying here. The location is close to both waterfalls and town—making it a nice place to explore. The rooms are modest but adequate with reliable hot water and WiFi. The yoga courses themselves are all excellent.Written 3 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

There is a spice shop and they also sell aprons kimonos and pijamas! I would go for the mega MasterChef option because it's only 1000rps extra and you learn breads, raita and chutney. I'm going back to learn these so would have been good to do that from the outset....Written 1 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
