Nice place to take a Holy dip. River is clean and neat. They also have small dressing rooms for women and Kids. You can take dip and do pooja to Ganga Matha. Evening Aarati is a feast to eyes.

Mystical, magical gufa, a must visit for all. There is so much energy inside that has to be experienced yourself. Vasishtha Gufa & Arundhati Gufa are inside a mountain next to the Ganga river bank. Its a very beautiful landscape and was not crowded during our visit so was a very enjoyable experience. Do plan additional time to sit & meditate inside the Vasishtha Gufa it will be a unique memorable experience. There is a tea stall run by a lady on the road at the entrance. Do have tea there & support locals who make their living by working hard.

The drive up the temple is very curvy. However the temple is clean and steps up to the temple are clean and well maintained.

Trip to Ram Jhula in Rishikesh was simply amazing, across the bridge lies another beautiful scenic spot known as 'Goa Beach' by locals with sandy area adjacent to the Ganga river, area is surprisingly clean and ideal spot for insta reels.

If you have not attended the Ganga Aarti before this may be a good start. The sanctity of the place and the worship style has deteriorated from earlier.

You may reach a little before time to grab good seats and view. The sun set is so divine to watch as the Aarti finishes.

Please keep your shoes in the shoe racks provided, they give you a token, else chances are you may not find them because of the heavy foot fall.

Overall, the feel is quite commercial as compared to the earlier.

This is an iconic bridge landmark of Rishikesh. The original bridge is shut down while a new one is under construction. The best shops and restaurants are on both sides of the bridge. I crossed over on the boat service that operates only during the day. You must visit the area.

We were suggested this place bya friend who visited in 2020. This place is also known as Baba Kalikamliwala Ashram. It is on the east river bank of Ganga river.
believe me, we were flabbergasted with the place. We booked a fully furnished air conditioned one bedroom kitchen apartment after a lots of efforts. It has to be booked ONLINE ONLY and the decision makers are based out of Calcutta.
But, it was worth all the efforts.
You have to go to the canteen for your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is very economical.
The whole place is full of life.
Our flat no.316 was very close to River Ganga. hardly 100 mts.We attended Ganga aarti for all the seven days we stayed there.
IF YOU JUST WANT TO REST IN CLEANEST ENVIORNMENT, DO YOG EVERYDAY, AND HAVE A TIME OF YOUR LIFE, YOU MUST VIVIT THIS PLACE.
By the way, for young people who want to roam around to visit other attractions like Laxman Zula etc. 2 wheelers are available on rent. Rs 500 per day !!!!

This ashram is a popular one as it offers accommodation at low prices to pilgrims. Was here for lunch at the bhojanalay. Very good and simple vegetarian food at reasonable price (INR 50 per person). Was here earlier too.

Legend have it- that during the procession of Shivji, he passed this place before getting married. And that how this place had existence. Discovered in 1954. Small trek and then climb up the stairs to get majestic views of Rishikesh
