- sanju_222323New Jersey17,746 contributionsThe beach pavilion near Neem Beach in Rishikesh is one of the most popular places to spend a day. It offers stunning views of the river, as well as a comfortable place to relax. The natural surroundings are beautiful and tranquil, perfect for enjoying a relaxing day away from it all.
you won't find any vendors here and it is a good 20 minutes’ walk to the beach. A private car is not allowed, still, few folks drive to the beach ignoring the rules.
it is the end point of many rafting services. The best time to come here is in the morning when you can take peaceful serene walks. It is also a great place to laze around for a few hours during the day while basking in the sun.Written 9 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Rishikesh, the world’s yoga capital, offers countless schools, but finding one with clean accommodations, authentic teachings, and a true spiritual environment is not as easy as it seems. In fact, I almost got scammed by the school I initially planned to attend.
Thankfully, I connected with Satya Prakash Guruji from Hatha Yoga Ashram—a truly pure and kind soul. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. His wisdom, guidance, and next-level meditation practices made this journey deeply transformative. I know I will return, just to sit with him and continue my sadhana.
What Makes This Ashram Special?
• Intense Yet Supportive Asana Practice: We had two daily asana sessions—one in the morning and another in the afternoon. The training was physically and mentally challenging, but we received the right support and motivation throughout.
• Beyond the Standard YTTC Syllabus: Unlike many other schools that stick to the basics, Hatha Yoga Ashram integrates Karma Yoga and Bhakti Yoga, allowing students to experience the deeper essence of yogic life.
• Clean & Comfortable Accommodation: The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and offer a peaceful environment for rest and reflection.
• Nutritious & Satvic Food: The meals are pure, nourishing, and offer plenty of variety, supporting both body and mind.
Highly Recommended!
Whether you’re looking to become a certified yoga teacher or seeking a Guruji to guide you on your spiritual path, I wholeheartedly recommend Hatha Yoga Ashram. It’s not just a school; it’s a home for true seekers.
