Such an absolutely wonderful experience! Kaly and everyone at Mapping the Himalayas did a great job from the booking to the completion of this event. Kaly answered all of my questions as a first time visitor to India and even helped me with a matter involving a local cab company. Watching the sunrise and then catching a glimpse of the Himalayas was breathtaking. Ankush was the best possible hiking/trekking guide I could have asked for. His warm and kind manner made me feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the whole hike. As a solo female traveler I appreciated these guys so much! Ankush even caught my arm as I slipped on the rocks at one point keeping me from sliding further down. I valued how he shared his knowledge about the local plants, people and customs too. So enjoyed taking a break at the waterfall with my feet in the cool water at the end. This is not a beginner or an easy hike but if you love hiking and being in nature you will love it! I highly recommend Mapping the Himalayas and any of the adventures they offer.

We visited the Beatles Ashram in Rishikesh and felt a sense of tranquility wash over us. The ashram's beautiful architecture, serene surroundings, and fascinating history made for a captivating experience. A must-visit for Beatles fans and those seeking a peaceful retreat

Sunny was a fantastic guide and felt like an instant friend. He explained things so clearly and the tour was the perfect pace. We didn’t have long in Rishikesh so this was perfect to dive straight in. Would highly recommend!

Ajay is a wonderful guide! He answered all my many questions with good humor and lots of information. The scenery is amazing and the many temples and religions were lovely to see and learn about. It was a great day, well worth the drive. Highly recommended!!

This tour was inspiring, enjoyable and restorative - even in the rain ... and partly because of it. Sure, we'd hoped for sunrise and a hike, BUT then we would have missed the truly GORGOUS VIEWS of soft clouds calmly snuggling in with and caressing the colorful mountains – a very meditative and inspiring sight! We appreciate our guide, Sachin, who thought well about us and the weather as we made the joint decision not to hike down in the slippery mud and rain. Could have tried again the next day, but we were off to other adventures after recharging our batteries at Kunjapuri Temple. Our tour was precious and awesome in its own way, and we are grateful for the experience, guide, driver and tour company. We’d choose them again in a heartbeat!

What a wonderful and unique experience it was to do this trek! I highly recommenf it!

Please note however, that for beginners this trek might be a bit tough. The terrain is at times rough and some paths are in a natural state (i.e. not maintained), so take proper hiking/trekking shoes. I took my poles, they helped a lot. I'm a beginner and could manage only because I exercise regularly and I'm in good physical condition.

The best thing about this tour was the guide, Rudra. A kind and helpful person. He has serious mountaineering experience, so you'll be in good hands. As a solo female traveler, I always felt safe.

The sunrise from the temple was amazing! The feeling of seeing the sun come out from in between the Himalayas is very special and finding words to describe how magnificent this is, is almost impossible. On the way down from the temple, we had time for breakfast and a longer stop on the trek down to the waterfall. The whole tour was simply great. I'm a seasoned traveler, having visited close to 60 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas and this tour ranks up there as one of the best travel experiences I've ever had.

Was awful!!! The description of the tour is a totally lie! The guide didn’t speak at all. Was a walk with a dumb.
I’ve written about to the agency Yo Tours but they didn’t answer.
The agency or trip advisor should give the money back!!!
I’ve lost my time doing this tour!!!
