Loved this class, we learnt so much about indian cooking, and about the healing property of spices (amazing knowledge!) apart from the recipes themselves so many tips and tricks to help you cook healthy(ish), Ayurvedic, delicious food. There is a spice shop and they also sell aprons kimonos and pijamas! I would go for the mega MasterChef option because it's only 1000rps extra and you learn breads, raita and chutney. I'm going back to learn these so would have been good to do that from the outset....

Words can not describe the amazing month I had at Pyramid Yogshala! The memories I made will live through me forever, and the knowledge will flow through me to others! If you are looking for a real Indian yoga teacher training experience …More

I can’t tell how great my experience at Pyramid Yogshala was! I feel so grateful to have chosen that particular school. It is nestled in a quiet place surrounded by nature, just 5 minutes away from the main Laxman Jhula road. Everything is there so you can just enjoy: rooms, the restaurant, the yogshala and a big open garden.

The classes were incredibly professional and interesting, the teachers are so good! Yoshita is tough during the classes but she is a sweet young woman and has such a big heart. I enjoyed her classes (Shatkriya, Pranayama, Hatha Yoga), there were really well structured and interesting. I was not really interested about the naturopathy class but the mud bath was a lot of fun! Thanks a lot to the other teachers: Keshav, Sachin, Direndra, Sandeep and Manoj! I learnt so much from all of them and you can feel they teach with the heart.

Of course, the YTTC is intense, but I felt we had a lot of free time through the days. So you can take a nap, study or just enjoy time with the group or in the city.

Some comments but it does not change the fact that I really enjoyed everything there: I would have loved more adjustments classes because it’s never enough and I really enjoyed this class with Manoj! We did not have time to learn about Yamas and Niyamas, and the Chakras, and to do the cooking class.

We were lucky to attend Rahul and Ines’s wedding during the first week of the training! We felt like we were part of the family, as we enjoyed the ceremonies and parties with the guests. It was so nice of them to do it at the Shala and share it with us! We also had outings: going to a Yogi cave, to Ganga Aarti and to see to sunrise over the Himalayas at Kunjapuri Temple. That last one felt so special to me, the place is magical.

Thank you for everyone working there: in the kitchen, cleaning, helping… Everyone is so nice. And a big and warm thank to Rahul and Ravi, always smiling and helping when you need.

Last but not least: the food is incredible! Even if the meals look the same every day, it is perfect, very tasty and not too spicy!

I will recommend Pyramid Yogshala to anyone that wants to go for a YTTC, for sure!

We booked directly at their office in Tapovan and right from pick up to drop, everything was so professional and well timed. The retreat is awesome and the team is great. We loved the ayurveda thali, therapy and meditation session.

I came to India last year to study Ayurveda with Khabir. Not only was I astounded by the culture and the people; the depth of knowledge covered during the classes was very extensive. I went for course 1 and stayed for course 2, and in this learned more than I could have imagined about the Fundamentals, and Diagnostic Methods (respectively) of Ayurveda. With the addition of my guided self-study done prior to the course, with the study outline provided by Khabir, I was able to cement my understanding of the fundamental concepts of Ayurvedic anatomy and physiology, memorize a lot of the core concepts, and delve deeply into understanding this vast subject. In the diagnostic course, we did role-playing which proved very valuable for our learning, and helped each other to practice feeling the pulse, assessing the tongue and the body features. Overall this has served me very well, it was absolutely worth the trip and frankly Khabir's sharing of his knowledge of Ayurveda and experience traveling India is unique and unforgettable. I've already gotten my ticket to join the group for courses 3 & 4 later this year!
