Beautiful vineyard on Grand Isle, Vt with excellent wines and fantastic, friendly service. Sam and Emily made our visits to the winery extra special this summer. The vineyard is pet friendly, in fact, pet spoiling happens on a regular basis! The winery has both indoor and outdoor seating so no worries regarding weather conditions, you’re covered. There were concerts throughout the summer season and we were lucky enough to enjoy. Check on their event schedule for upcoming events. We’ve been informed they are open year round, with limited hours so check ahead. They have some fall events that will include warm mulled wine. I cannot wait!
Wines are plentiful and cover the entire spectrum from dry to sweet, red, white and rose. Tastings are VERY affordable and DELICIOUS! Bottles are delightfully affordable as well, whether drinking on site or taking to go. There are snacks available but feel free to bring your own food as well for a lovely picnic on the grounds. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. If the weather permits, take the short “hike” up the hill behind the winery for a surprisingly breathtaking view of the vineyard and Lake Champlain.
Snow Farms Vineyard is easily a favorite of ours and we plan to visit regularly throughout the year. Go and enjoy!!!

Apple cider doughnuts and excellent early season apples. Small farm stand, no animals for kids or frills. Recommend for the selection and fresh goods.

We biked to this farm from Burlington VT and we are so happy we made it! We enjoyed a apple cider slushy and a brain freeze (apple cider slushy mixed with maple ice cream) and both were delicious! We will be back for sure!

I didn't come here for the beach. As beaches go, it's adequate. It's a quiet, serene local beach. Good views, but other than that, it is rather narrow and nothing that makes it stand out as a beach to go out of one's way for.
The real attraction is the Bird House Forest, right next to the beach. This is a lot of colorful bird houses put up on trees on private property across from the beach. There were even a few small dinosaur statues tossed in for extra measure. The Bird House Forest is *not* publicly accessible, but can easily be viewed from the dirt road between it and the beach. There appear to be hundreds of these things. I enjoy quirky attractions when I travel. This did not let me down. It was worth going out my way for, even though one cannot walk among them. A local person I was talking with was surprised that I went out of my way to see this, but I assured him that I found it impressive.

A most incredible bike ride! Good for all levels for sure. Be aware that the trail is gravel, and that most of the ride to the ferry is the ride! Ferry is a boat that ferries you about 200 yards! Fun and GORGEOUS views but I had a different vision when starting out, so wanted to let y'all know... the causeway was much longer than I had been aware.

We were just passing through and decided to stop. Could not believe the organization skill's this lady has in the placement of her treasures. This is truly a must see. What we really found most interesting is the collection of clothing through the years that you would see in stage plays, that worn in the movies. Most interesting however is the hat collection she has. Can you imagine a collection of over 500 hats? I'm a guy but was really impressed in the numbers and design. There is a lot of truly antiques in this place. She had taken over the business from her mom and she's been in it a long time. You never know what treasure you may find. I am sure you would not be disappointed. She has a little friend that she feeds as well. If your going with children it is pretty tight quarters, but, don't let the stop you from taking a look. Just have them be careful.

We had been driving for hours and just wanted to sit back and relax a little. East Shore Vineyard fir the bill. It's a nice tasting room with a relaxed atmosphere. It was a hot, humid day, but there was a nice cool breeze coming in. The woman conducting our tasting was very helpful, friendly and easy to talk to.

Our favorites were the Traminette Dry, the Champlain and the Cabernet Franc.

It's really worth the drive to the tasting room to have some nice wines while looking out at the pretty vineyard.

This is a wonderful local owned and supported craft shop where you can find unique, one of a kind gifts for home and garden. Pottery, paintings, driftwood sculptures and rainchimes, woodwork, knit goods, cards, scarves, jewelry, and more. It's a local gem.
