We were passing thru this area and decided to stop. Very glad we did. Very nice staff. The white wines were very good. There was inside or outside seating to choose from. The view of the vineyard is nice. It appeared they host events. You can buy cheese, crackers to enjoy with your wine, all packaged.

What a creative way to replace a bridge! The ferry was well-run and even on a windy day felt safe a secure. The loading and unloading process was easy and the suggested donation of $5 each way was reasonable. The crew was friendly and didn't pressure those who didn't pay about their failure to make a donation.

We read about this in another review and thought we would check it out. We were not disappointed. The farm's simple little shop is full of all things apple or maple and other local treats. The soft ice cream cones are a must. Anyone who does not enjoy this place just can't appreciate the simple things in life.

While on tour of the islands we found this beach area that has hundreds of bird house on one side of the road and a sandy beach on the other side. Parking is limited and seems to be a place mostly for locals, but a nice place to launch a canoe or kayak.

Apple cider doughnuts and excellent early season apples. Small farm stand, no animals for kids or frills. Recommend for the selection and fresh goods.

We had been driving for hours and just wanted to sit back and relax a little. East Shore Vineyard fir the bill. It's a nice tasting room with a relaxed atmosphere. It was a hot, humid day, but there was a nice cool breeze coming in. The woman conducting our tasting was very helpful, friendly and easy to talk to.

Our favorites were the Traminette Dry, the Champlain and the Cabernet Franc.

It's really worth the drive to the tasting room to have some nice wines while looking out at the pretty vineyard.

We were just passing through and decided to stop. Could not believe the organization skill's this lady has in the placement of her treasures. This is truly a must see. What we really found most interesting is the collection of clothing through the years that you would see in stage plays, that worn in the movies. Most interesting however is the hat collection she has. Can you imagine a collection of over 500 hats? I'm a guy but was really impressed in the numbers and design. There is a lot of truly antiques in this place. She had taken over the business from her mom and she's been in it a long time. You never know what treasure you may find. I am sure you would not be disappointed. She has a little friend that she feeds as well. If your going with children it is pretty tight quarters, but, don't let the stop you from taking a look. Just have them be careful.

This is a wonderful local owned and supported craft shop where you can find unique, one of a kind gifts for home and garden. Pottery, paintings, driftwood sculptures and rainchimes, woodwork, knit goods, cards, scarves, jewelry, and more. It's a local gem.
