We finally made it to visit at real history about it for our very first time. It was excellent information to read and look many pictures about sad happening. Poor JFK! I recommend you to go visit that museum.

The Dallas Arboretum is a series of interconnected properties that come together to form an amazing oasis of trees, flowers and beauty overlooking White Rock Lake. Plan to spend two to three hours exploring the nooks and crannies of each themed garden area.

We had a great time overlooking Dallas at night. We took our cousin who was visiting Dallas and he loved the experience.

    Very good museum.

Price: Main exhibits were free. There were three special collections, for $10-20 each. Onsite parking was $20.

I enjoyed the Americas exhibits on the 4th floor. There was plenty of interesting explanation next to the pieces, except for a few spots where you had to get info from a book or tablet. I liked how the museum provided cultural context for why certain art is the way it is.

The 3rd and 2nd floor have art representing several world regions. Again, I liked how the museum provided context. There is a small exhibit devoted to art restoration.

The 1st floor contained the special exhibits, which I did not visit.

Navigating was a bit difficult, but the staff is helpful. I found myself backtracking to places I had skipped. I would suggest looking at everything in each small section before moving on to the next room.

I spent a couple of hours, with the most time on the Americas.

The building is very well organized - everything flows. The lighting is muted, it's spacious, it was not crowded. Enjoyed where their two daughters talked about his sense of humor. Had lunch in the "cafe". It's really an upscale restaurant with a limited menu. The food was OK. It was not clear whether we could go to the back building (the library or not, so we didn't).

It was a sensory experience that makes you feel like you are in a rainforest. We really enjoyed the tunnels with surprises around every turn! Incredible variety of animals!

Having studied the Kennedy assassination in detail over the years it was fascinating to actually visit the site and Sixth Floor Museum. One striking fact was that it was much smaller than photos and videos seem to indicate. The fatal third shot by Oswald, who acted alone without question, was a straight away shot of less than a hundred yards. With his four power scope it would seem like 70 feet or so and slightly down and straight ahead. No one would pick a loser like Oswald to be any part of a conspiracy. He couldn't succeed at anything until he killed Kennedy.

Great thing to stop by on our last day in Dallas. The sculptures are larger than life and amazing to see up-close.

The best place for a Sunday drive of beautiful homes and a Dallas skyline. White Rock Lake is great place to drive around for the day. The sailboats were gorgeous. We have been going here for years and it always gets better.

We had an excellent meal at the Allegro restaurant before the performance. Our symphony seats were excellent and the acoustics were perfect. Thoroughly enjoyable evening experience.
