What travellers are saying
- Daryl CDanville, CA982 contributionsThe main area of Carrolton wasn't expecially big but it's a nice stop. There are good restaurants, a beer garden and a nice public square.Written 7 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Parking is usually easily available but is limited adjacent streets. It also has a nice nature trail on the northeast end with a couple of children's play grounds.Written 4 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Luis AlberoVinhedo, SP339 contributionsWe were just visiting to spend some hours walking around the old center when found this. This store is huge. It has dozens of separate pieces dedicated to many different subjects. If you like antiques, it's almost a museum.Written 4 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Patrick MCoppell, TX10 contributionsVery wooded area with many flora and fauna of plants. Will also see rabbits, and birds if many species.Written 22 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- rdubbs08Edmond, OK8,002 contributionsWe were in from out of town and stopped to get breakfast before making the drive home. With over an hour wait at the eatery, we opted to order food to-go and find a local park to eat at and let the kids play before the long car drive home. Mary Heads Carter Park had ample places to have our morning picnic and the playground is top-notch. Perfect for both our 5 year old and almost 2 year old, this park has something for every age. The best part was that despite the park being busy, it is large enough to accommodate lots of people without being on top of each other. We'd highly recommend this park to anyone in the area!Written 23 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Don PDallas, TX13,808 contributionsThis is a nice small neighborhood city park. There is playground, covered pavilion, Basketball court, and parking. There is also access to the Purple trail. This is right across the street from the Carrollton AmphitheaterWritten 2 January 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Don PDallas, TX13,808 contributionsIf you play Discgolf (Frisbee) this is probably an excellent place. Saw many people playing there over the last couple days, and it looks like it could take a few hours to play a round. The course is next to the Purple Trail so if you are walking along the trail you can see people playing. Its along a creek so there will be a lot of water hazards. The markings for where to throw and where the 'holes' are seem clear.Written 1 January 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
