Our three day tour of the Isle of Skye left me speechless, and I have Kenny K., our tour guide to thank. Kenny could’ve treated us like flight attendants treat passengers. We are seated. We are told how to behave. We are told about our next stop. Conversation is cordial. He sits down, he drives and we don’t hear from him again until we get to our first location, but that’s not what we got. We got an engaging, funny, intelligent, well-meaning, and well-informed music loving gentleman who cared about and for each of us equally. He gave us three days we will never forget. Kenny led the way. He was the reason. So thanks to all 11 new friends on the bus and thanks to Kenny Kirk for bringing us to the Isle of Skye and making sure we saw all its beauty.

In all honesty it was our first time to be on a three day tour and the overall experience was fantastic.
The majestic sceneries of the highlands were highlighted throughout the tour. The allotted time for every spot was sufficient enough for us to immerse ourselves and savor the moment with the nature. We were astonished with the exemplary history, culture and tradition of the inhabitants and places that we visited.

Given the fact that it was raining during the tour, our tour guide (MAJ)never fails to uplift the mood given the circumstances at that time. He was very informative; with almost everything under the sun about the tour, zealous, charming and was on the dot every day and we would also like to commend his choice of music from classic to modern scottish music/songs to pop & rock..we love it all lol and he even went out of his way to show us the best spot for star gazing,it was a wonderful evening and we are so thankful to Maj for it.

In addition, the hotel was lovely as well, it is cozy, and close enough that one is able to walk to the town center where there is an array of pubs & restaurants to choose from.

We would highly recommend the Highland experience tour to everyone who wants to unwind, connect themselves with the nature and is keen to know the great history that took part in the highland of Scotland.

Amazing experience. Everything simply perfect. I has been a privilege to have John as a guide. Always kind and welcoming. A real highlander who has enriched the trip with beautiful stories and anecdotes about Scotland. We will be back!

This tour did NOT disappoint! Our guide, Martin, met us dressed as a proper Scotsman. He thoroughly described Scotland’s history as we moved about the different locations. He asked several times if we were comfortable. The van is very comfortable. The temperature was just right, as was the lighting. The roads can be a little bumpy and windy, so if you get car sick easily, sit up front so you can look out of the front window. You should be fine. The best moment for my group was finding some Highland cows to take pictures with. Martin assured me he would stop if he found some and he did! He even jumped out to take our pictures. After a long day of touring, the ride back was very nice. Everyone fell asleep but Martin softly spoke through the microphone in case anyone was awake. He was beyond knowledgeable and professional. Thanks for the laughs and making one of my Scottish wishes come true, Martin! When I come back, I will be sure to take another tour with this company. I hope Martin is my tour guide again!

Our tour began on time and was easy to find. We can’t say enough good things about Stevie, our guide. He gave us a great insight into the history of the southern Highlands and had frequent stops for scenic photos. We arrived back in Glasgow after dark having had a wonderful time of fun and fellowship.

This was a tour I will never forget! It was an amazing experience, mainly because our tourgide Paul B. expertly looked after the group throughout the entire journey. The bus was comfortable and Paul managed to make the rides as entertaining as possible. The accommodation that they had arranged was also wonderful and it was nice that I did not have to arrange anything myself. Everything that we saw during the two days was very impressive, and Paul would always communicate with us what our options were. As a solo traveller, I felt looked after and I have greatly enjoyed myself during the trip. Overall, I cannot recommend enough!

Each of the 5 days of tour are a not to be missed experience! The views are stunning, the accommodations were excellent and our tour guide, Jamie Stewart was awesome. His knowledge of Scotland's history, legends and fables kept us informed and entertained. His carefully chose music to play as he segued from one story to another was good. His first concern was that we have fun! The roads we took every day caused us to fully experience the wonders of Scotland.

We took the trip via Timberbush. The Highlands is a beautiful area of Scotland and every visitor to the country should see it.

This was not a large group tour (that's good), but a group of 19 or 20. We made numerous stops along the way and viewed gorgeous scenery.

The trip could have been improved if there was a tour guide who provided more information about history and etc, along the way. The driver was great (I think he name was Callum--probably the wrong spelling) and he provided some information. He has to concentrate on driving over the narrow roads, so he should not be required to provide frequent scene information. Even without that feature, however, the trip was highly enjoyable and worth the small price.

Being able to see the steam train up close in one of the stops and then later in the trip while it traveled over antique bridge was fun.

First of all the basics. Clean comfortable vehicle, nice and small to be cozy. Love that there is a cafe at the shop to have a bite before heading off.

Did the 1 day Westlands, Lochs and Castles tour and it was wonderfully paced. Lots to see, and even had a lovely extra diversion to the Kelpie statues. But had to give huge points out to our tour guide Grant. He is eloquent, knowledgeable, very funny and passionate about being a host to the country he loves.

I could hear him talk about the history of Scotland for hours and his driving and his compassion for everything really stood out for us. We just feel he is a good man. Highly recommended your company, but even more if you have the privilege of Grant being your guide.

We recently had a very enjoyable excursion with Adrian from Busy Bus.
We managed to see a lot of the highlands and some of the popular tourist sites.
We had a couple of people with mobility issues and Adrian was very helpful and considerate.

We took the tour in November. We had a very short visit to Scotland visiting cities and wanted to see the highlands and isle of skye. Our tour guide Maj was fantastic. He had a wonderful sense of humour and shared Scottish history and folklore amazingly well. Loved the scenery! It was a lot of driving, but we wanted to see it all. Would highly recommend this tour!

Great day trip around the loch and a distillery tour. Jenny, our friendly tour guide, provided entertaining and expert information on local culture and geography. The loch is gloriously beautiful, framed by grassy meadows and the backdrop of the Highlands, starting with the munro of Ben Lomond. We even got to learn a Scottish tongue twister - "it was brah bricht moonlicht nicht the nicht."

Things to know - the boat cruise and the distillery tour cost another 13 pds (June 2022) each. Those are discounted rates that seem like a bargain for what you get. Take a sweater and a jacket for the boat tour. It gets a wee bit chilly, even in the summer. The fish and chips shop in Luss was very good. There's a finer dining restaurant too, but you have to pick one.

Our family just finished a Bespoke/Celtic tour with James and I couldn’t wait to write this review. James is a proud Scotsman with expert knowledge of his homelands, it’s history, and Scottish lore. Pair this knowledge with his genuine relationship to the land and you’ve got the perfect recipe for an unforgettable experience. Quite simply, book a tour with James and Alba Experiences!! You will be so glad you did.

Very nice tour from Glasgow with a stop at Loch Lomond, Glen Coe and the three sisters( Hills :-) ).
Longer stay at Loch Ness with the possibility to have a interesting boats tour around Loch Ness. We had also some short and easy to make walks in the hill and wood areas. Good, helpful and experience tour guide. I can recommend this tour. Best Regards from Black Forest.

I did this tour because the original one I booked was cancelled due to lack of bookings, but the company were very helpful and rearranged the other tour I had booked so I could do this one. This was a wonderful tour, lots to see and learn. Brendan was our driver and he was very friendly and knowledgeable, (and a little crazy, which just added to the fun) the coach was very comfy. Also Gray line are the ONLY company in Edinburgh I found to do hotel pick ups (or as close as they can get), everyone else you have to travel right into the city centre early in the morning. I Definitely recommended this trip.
