    5point Review
Activity Duration : Half day picnic or a one night Stay
A beautiful peaceful place with just enough activity
    1. 👍: Beautiful scenery all around. Great beach. Barbecue can be done here as well. Water activities (Speed boat etc) available. And a leaping deck to jump into the water. What more you want?
    2. Thumbs down : Can get a little crowded. Not many dining options around.
    3. Wow factor : One of the better spots to explore Loch Lomond. You can idle around on the beach or do fun activities. The beach is a narrow long strip, with greenery all around it. Picturesque
    4. Money Matters : Beach is free. Watersports a little expensive. But a speed boat ride is fun. Should try that out.
    5. 5point Experience : If you are near Glasgow you must try this place out. Loch Lomonds beauty can be experienced best here.

We stumbled across this walk by accident on our visit to Luss. Well known for being one of the most beautiful villages in Scotland, the faerie trail is a nice addition. The path and various attractions along the way were really good. Having the river part of the way is a bonus. The trail is circular, so we ended up back in the village.
    Worth a visit.

The village of Luss is very pretty. It is small, but there is a meadow walk called the Pilgrimage Trail which doesn't take long. We had intended to catch the ferry to Inchailloch, but the weather had turned misty so we abandoned the idea. Also because we hadn't pre-booked tickets we thought we would not get on anyway due to 2 coach parties turning up, so advise you pre-book. You can get to the small gravel beach and hire water craft.

Lovely gallery, with a range of reasonably priced paintings, prints and gifts. The owner left us to browse but was also happy to answer any questions. The gallery also does framing. All in all, this is a gallery that is not remotely snobby nor do they try to give you the hard sell the minute you walk in the door. Highly recommended if you are looking for reasonably priced artwork or a cheap print as a souvenir!

We ducked in on our rainy visit. It was lovely. The woman working the day we were there was very helpful, explaining so much about local history. Luss was our first stop after arriving in Scotland, and our time here got us off to a good start.

This is a small (and somehow unimpressive) memorial located in Luss, on the bank of picturesque Loch Lomond.

Very nice strenuous but not difficult hike. Start on a path next to the village school. take a bridge across the highway, A82, pass a house on the right and go through the gate ascending a grassy path uphill through a meadow into the trees. The trail becomes a mix or grass and rock which continues up through a peaty area and then to the ridge line. The trail overlooks Luss and Loch Lomond with numerous viewpoints for photos.. At the top you can continue on a loop to return or go bak the way you came up. It was misting and rained for a short while during the hike. Wear layers and a rain jacket. With lunch it took us approximately 4 1/2 hours to complete the hike.

Had a great day down at the Carrick course, Loch Lomond, enjoying a voucher Christmas present of a game, range balls and a lesson. Great present,

COURSE IS A BRILLIANT LAYOUT WITH SOME STUNNING VIEWS FROM 10th and 14th greens overlooking the bottom holes and Loch Lomond and the hills.

Course is still saturated and water in places I have never seen on the course before. Some new surprising water hazards.

2nd tee for ladies had 13 golf balls on it from the driving range, a definite hazard that needs to be recognised and tackled.

Pro lesson was good and driving range for iron play was off matts but fairly good. You mostly hit into water, which is a bit strange.

Barry was our great tour guide for our 60minute speed boat tour. The water was quite choppy which added to the fun but the tour was a nice mix of the speedy fun and slow bits where Barry pointed out local highlights (including some highland cows). We loved every minute and would recommend it to anyone. Great job Barry thanks

WOW I cannot recommend a day out with this team of professionals more highly. Ian and Richard our guides were amazing, they were so knowledgeable about the vehicles, the beautiful scenery we experienced and thewhole of Scotland in general. We are locals and wouldn't have imagined that this would've been such an eye opener but it was - YOU HAVE TO DO THIS!!!!

It was a rainy day and not really anything to do that day. So we decided - despite the weather - to do a small Loch Lomond Cruise.

Found this company here with several departures from Luss. The office at the pier was closed that day, so we booked two tickets in the morning for a cruise on the same day afternoon.

Price was 16£ a person. A very fair deal.

The boat had a nice size. Plenty of seats and tables inside with big windows to enjoy the loch views. There's also the top section of the boat where you can get some real nice views and pics. Even though partly heavy rain I went up there sometimes to get some pics. The rain and the clouds actually even added to the scottish atmosphere here.

There was also some live commentary and infos. Staff was very friendly, helpful and informative. There's a kiosk to get some snacks and drinks. A toilet as well on board.

Took a bit under 90mins. A very nice short round cruise around the beautiful Loch Lomond. Stopped at Balmaha and at the remote small island of Inchcailloch to let passengers hop on and off. You could just do a part of the cruise or just spend a while in one place and get back on the boat later. The small beach of Inchcailloch looked very charming. Maybe next time on a sunny day.

A very nice thing to do this cruise. Nice views along the coast, lots of small islands you'll pass. A very relaxing, quiet place. We love Luss and Loch Lomond. Surely not the last time we've been here. And definitely not the last time on a Loch cruise with this company.

Myself, Annmarie, Michael & Charlotte had a great day with Cliff our guide. We learnt some canoeing skills and we feel pretty expert now on canadian canoes. Loch Lomond is incredibility atmospheric and was just that for our day. We went around and between the islands in the loch with Cliff relating history, geology and archaeology as we went.. this was perfect for us. As a bit of a bonus we saw a couple of osprey on our return to the launch site. We finished the day excited and enthused! Loved it.
We will be back to do some of the other adventures!
