Good tour, interesting and enjoyed the whisky. Lynn and Ian great guides and the shop had good selection to purchase for gifts or other.

Very cute museum with tons of information on many topics about the region. It is packed full of stuff, done with care but very low tech. We learned a lot and wished that we could have spent more time here.

We stayed in a cottage in the park and walked the park every day. It is a fantastic location with amazing views, a beautiful loch and a waterfall. Quite a lot of steps and steep slopes so you need to take care. Lovely area for parking and picnic and flat grass areas for games.

Martin and Pam are the wonderful owners and hosts of this cosy gallery. They are super helpful, kind and warm and they make you feel at home with tea and coffee. You can find books, calendars, cards, very beautiful art and talking with them both makes this place a must stop.

This is a small local aquarium so do not expect a Sea Life Centre. The displays are fish found locally. They are returned to the sea 4 weeks after being on display. There is a variety to see and probably most enjoyed by children and provides an educational experience. Mostly it consists of crab lobster starfish and sea urchin it's best to take your time and read the information provided. It's not huge but you could spend an hour or so there or breeze through in ten minutes and think it was expensive. I am glad we went.

We accidentally arrived just before one of the two tours per day, and were very glad we did. As a veteran of tours over several decades, this was one of the best. It was varied, interesting, informal, captivating, and the two hours just flew by. A farm. A cheesery. A distillery. A cheese-and-spirit-tasting session. I bought a bottle of the whey-ski [sic] because it is better than most of the single-malt whiskies I've tried, and comparable with my favourite (Tamnavulin double-cask, Speyside). The blue cheese is deliciously mellow and subtle, even my (non-blue-eating) wife liked it! If you go to the Isle of Mull, make sure you know when the tours are, and book yourself on one.

Went to see a production of Philips Fogg featuring the youth theatre group. A lovely wee theatre with really good scenery during the production. The performers were excellent and had obviously rehearsed a lot, well done everyone involved

Pretty much all we did here was walk up and down the main street, so it was a pleasure to find this small yet useful visitors center. The staff inside had more information than we really needed and a few things to sell.

This is a pleasant walk from the waterfront in the town. The path runs through the woods around the headland, and is mostly level, but it gets a bit rocky and muddy in places. There is no access to the lighthouse itself, but you can walk on the raised path up to the gate. There was a dead porpoise lying beside the walkway when we were there - thankfully there was enough of a breeze to keep things bearable! On the return leg, we took the steep path up to the golf course at the top, and skirted the greens to end up back above the town. And stopped for drinks on the terrace of the Western Isles Hotel!

Our cruise ship sailed in and out of this bay, and it was indeed very lovely. The scenery is great and best seen from the water. Unfortunately it was a rainy day, so not seen to its best advantage.

Angus absolutely captures the essence of the Island in his wonderful paintings and was incredibly welcoming when we chanced upon his gallery, we picked out an evocative framed print of one of his Ben More paintings, the perfect reminder of our visit to Mull.
