The walk there and back is very steep but the children loved it and the views over Eyehallow Sound are exceptional and well worth the walk.

Great little site; the only watermill still working in Orkney.Loads of history and knowledge shared by a fiendly millman - thank you Mr. Alister.
We came away with a good stack of flour and, as the whole tour was free, a donation, historic sites such as this run with enthusiasm and passion are so well worth supporting.
