Dolly was fanominal, Aretha hit the high notes like a champion, Elvis was great, Frank was beyond great and the Blues Brothers were outstanding. It was a long day because the drive from Myrtle Beach to Charleston is about 2 hours down and 2 hours back. Our driver Wendy was very nice and helpful. She managed the day very well. We enjoyed the narrated carriage ride around the historic district. The visit to the market was interesting. It's about 4 blocks long. The boat trip to Fort Sumter was enjoyable also. Fort Sumter is an interesting Civil War site. Boone Plantation was our last stop. The home is beautiful and the grounds are lovely. The entrance through the oak alley is spectacular. - dsfmicroCharlotte, NC35 contributionsWe stayed at the Prince Resort and it was great to be so close to the beach. The pools are nothing special but you have almost no distance from the hotel to the waves. My husband and son played golf 2 days and I read and enjoyed the ocean. Our balcony could be accessed from the master bedroom and the living room and it was great to be able to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning and watch the sunrise. Sunset on the balcony was gorgeous, as well.
We went to Medieval Times and had a blast! We weren't prepared to eat with our hands, but we managed! The performers stayed in character and did a great job. We plan to go back and take our grandsons on some future trip!

- BooNemo, SD2 contributionsThis adventure was our first time riding Segways. It didn’t take long to get the hang of them and trying something new made the trip that much more fun. Bob was great at keeping an eye on us and he was full of interesting tidbits about the area and its inhabitants. The park is pretty even in November. Having fun while learning something new is a great combo. Bob also uses your phone to take lots of photos and a couple videos you’ll have for sharing. We saw several alligators and different bird species. She was very complete and enthusiastic about teaching us about her town. My favorite parts were the history of the country singers and how they made it big and our visit to Charlie's Place that is now a historic marker. I would definitely do another tour with Katharine. The movie history book we received was so very informative. The activities were so much fun to find and to be creative in what we sent in. We got to see so much of Myrtle beach and experience the life on Myrtle beach. It does take some driving to find all the places but it was so much fun. We laughed so much and had a great family bonding experience. The virtual tour guide responded to us every time we uploaded the picture of the things we found and she responded to what we created or found. We then at the end of the hunt received how many points we got and where we stood on the leaderboard.
