- JAYNE F3 contributionsWent to The Broad Chare with my husband 2 sons and their girlfriends.
You cannot go wrong in The Broad Chare, the food is always good. I had potted shrimps on toast it was lovely. For my main I had Pork chop I like to have pork when I go out as I cannot cook it at home it always ends up over done, it was lovely. My sons and husband had oysters to start which they love - yuk not for me. My husband had cod and sons both had steak. The girlfriends had burgers which they said were delicious as they must be homemade. All in all a lovely experience. It's a lovely building and the restaurant is above the pub. I didn't fancy a dessert so just had coffee instead. Everyone had a lovely time and would highly recommend.Written 25 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It has a completely different vibe than most other areas of MB, not feeling commercialized. We have a home in one of the MC developments and it is nice to be able to ride a bike through the area.Written 8 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark GCatonsville, MD3,233 contributionsIn this day and age with all the problems malls are having it was good to see this attractive mall thriving. It doesn't hurt to have the excellent retailers Belk and Dillard anchoring it. There is also a JC Penney with the only casualty being Sears at the one corner. They have a who's who of national companies you come to except with malls of this magnitude as well some nice regional stores like Simply Southern and Palmetto Moon. They have a nice food court with Chick-fil-A, Hwy 55, pizza and more and additional restaurants around the perimeter.Written 3 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bruce KWoodruff, SC166 contributionsWe enjoyed the trip to the indoor flea market. It would be a great place to visit on a rainy day. The market is quite large for an indoor market. We found a spinner that's driven by the wind, that's just beautiful, and for a great price. They have both used and new items. You can also find odd items that are hard to come by. They have DVD's all over the market, if you looking for something you haven't been able to find.Written 26 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RICART75Peru, IN2,036 contributionsStill a real treat to visit.
The amount of quality offerings assembled in this shop is truly amazing.
The owner has a great deal of knowledge/experience, and provides some interesting perspectives and background on a number of his items.
If one enjoys browsing and immersing oneself in quality craftmanship; this is definitely the place to visit.Written 4 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The people there still let me walk around and even invited me to join the class if I would like. The owner was ill that day, but they still were very kind. The next day I went for the exhibit. Many types of people were there as well as the owner and the artist. what a nice time I had meeting people, browsing and enjoying lovely appetizers with wine for no charge.Written 8 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - merdugNorth Myrtle Beach, SC16 contributionsI thought their prices were too expensive they did offer a large selection of merchandise and some of it was hand crafted by local artists.Written 6 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark FLancaster, PA10 contributionsHeard about Galaxy Golf from a visit to Dick’s Sports. My wife needed a new driver, and I was thinking about a whole new set. Met up with Michael who set my wife up in the practice area. He had her hit two dozen golf balls, giving her some very helpful tips along the way! She postponed buying anything, but learned a ton.
I was next, and after hitting my driver and a few irons, and a hitting selection of clubs Michael picked out we concluded my old clubs were just fine. Michael went out to the sales floor and came back with two drivers to try. They were both used clubs, one of which (the least expensive of the two) I hit an average of 20 yards farther than my own driver.
I bought the used driver and some golf balls and we walked away blown away by Michael’s helpfulness, his friendly demeanor, his tips and recommendations on how to improve, and his overall knowledge of the game.
Some kudos to Ed as well - another employee who offered help and sound advice - and given my game, I can use all of that I can get!
Great visit to Galaxy Golf and high marks for Michael and Ed!!Written 22 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Not much here to look at, Belks and Bass Pro seem to take up about 50% of the footprint of the entire mall. Food court appears to have only a few restaurants. Busiest store was Bass Pro, all the other stores made us feel like we at the beginning of the zombie apocalypse.Written 3 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SissyGreenvilleGreenville47 contributionsStarted not to stop, because I was not interested in beachy items and felt that might be the majority of their inventory. So glad I did; shopped for over an hour and got a pair of leather cowboy boots, 3 great hats, a cookbook and a few other gifts. Enjoyed it so much and the lovely young lady at the counter was so welcoming and personable. Such a great inventory, pretty displays, great vibe - would go back again!Written 14 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
