Nice beach for walking or kite flying in April when we were there, and the nearby nature reserve had nice flat walking loop with Ocean and Bay views and birds.
We usually get there by 9:30 and the parking lot is almost full, especially if you want to park near the bathhouse.

Sheltered from winds and high surf, it's located on the Sakonnet River, separated from Second Beach by Sachuest Point Nature Reserve.

Touro Park is nice, we liked the many interesting architecture structures in the area, including the Old Stone Mill, the churches, statue, stone slab water fountain, etc.
We had a great stroll around the park and got to see this great structure, it was so interesting so look at and see the construction.
