Beautiful grounds! Went to see the 100,000 daffodil bulbs in bloom and was also pleasantly surprised at the exotic trees in the property! Japanese Katsura and sequoia - so tall!

If you go, tour the mansion and partake in the afternoon tea. A luxurious treat!

We loved it so much we came back the following weekend. It's right on the ocean. About an hour and 30 min ride from Mass. Worth the drive. Parking is free.
Pathway along the ocean, then there is parking throughout the park. Places for picnic tables, people setting up parties, frisbee, games, bbq's, its beautiful. There is a restroom that closes around 5pm or so when we were there on a Saturday.

Clean, well maintained! Bike paths near by. Bring a chair, lunch, your dog, great way to spend the day!

What a beautiful home and museum. We were able to visit in December so the house was decorated for the season. Download the Linden House app to appreciate the rooms fully. Note that the upstairs is not handicapped friendly because of multiple stairs.

This is a bit of an enthusiast museum. If you know a little bit about the Herreshoff’s when you get there, you’ll leave knowing a lot more and with a greater appreciation for their contributions. Had a great time.

If the Musée Patamécanique was a punctuation mark, would it be an interrobang‽ Make the pilgrimage and (you may be able to) answer this riddle, and/or be inspired to devise new ones ...

Park by the Barn and the B and B. The walk to Cove Cabin is about a mile. About 2/3s of the way is a sign and path to the left which leads to the memorial commemorating where King Phillip was killed (1776). In theory a permit is required- in theory.

The walk ends with wonderful views of the Mount Hope Bridge.

Very enjoyable experience. The aquarium was interesting-the turtle actually followed you when you moved back and forth in front of him/her - so cute. The nature walk was diversified, interesting, and lovely. We saw two osprey nests. One had two babies that kept poking their heads up - so doggone cute. There were cormorants and gulls. It was a perfect day to hike the well maintained trail to beautiful Narragansett Bay,

On the Bristol Harbor waterfront, usually the first real glimpse of the water when entering Bristol. Independence Park in the morning you find lots of dog walker, people exercising, or just sipping a cup of coffee. It's become a place to meet up on your way to dinner at Quito's or maybe lunch at the Beehive.
It really is just a basically small but nice park to pass your time, and relax whiling taking in the water views/sunsets.

I saw this in the paper that they were having a demo of maple sugar and other things. We were greeted right away in a friendly and knowledgeable manner. I had my granddaughter with me so I thought she could learn something there and enjoy the outdoors at this time of year. Everyone was friendly and courteous and told us many things wer were unaware of.

The most unique artwork on display--including flowers and cats in mosaic style. Must see to appreciate.
