... world-class street art and temple to Black American history right here in Pittsburgh. I have a feeling a lot of people are gonna wanna come and see this sophisticated, epic work of art. Not so many people are traveling around nowadays, but this is something real special and it'll draw a lot tourists here one day. I'm not sure I've ever seen a work of art as large as this - monumental fair to say. It almost covers the whole building. I think this place'll become some sort of shrine. Even though I don't know who the majority of the people representing black history on this beautiful mural are, I am really in awe of it. Muhammad Ali caught my eye. I've always liked and thought highly of the champ: a human being who transcended race, politics, war, amongst other things. Anyway, I came here on New Year's Eve day, nothing to do but wander around Pittsburgh and go home before people start drinking and driving. The building this art swallows is the Community Empowerment Association in the Homewood section of town. It looks like a low-income, marginalized kind of neighborhood, but I didn't see anyone out in the streets doing anything. A quiet, final place for me to go and thing to do in 2020. I'm glad to have ended the year giving some thought to people that suffered greatly in this horrible year.
