We found check in to be satisfactory, Our unit was clean and in good shape in Bldg 5. The resort has been improved and appears to be well maintained. The amenities were more than sufficient. The food at the Tavern on the Lake (Harmony)was excellent even as compared with the Manhattan restaurants we frequent. Plenty of luggage carriers in the lobbies for convenience. Staff was indeed friendly and made an effort to help so there were none of the incidents we encountered that were anywhere like the ones reported on this site. No more tolls on the stupid little road leading into the property!
Negatives were the prices at the convenience stores /food outlets in Galleria were very high ($20+ for a pizza!) and the coffee shop charges $6+ for a bacon egg sandwich. The pull out bed in the unit was very uncomfortable and management should look into this as it was nearly impossible to sleep on the pull out.

Lake Harmony is typically for motorcraft. - Chris S1 contribution4 adults and 3 teens taking turns on the big tube for an hour. I did not expect to have anywhere near as much fun as we all had, it ended up being the high point of our week! Particular kudos to Rob, who is very skilled at driving the boat in a way that provides maximum entertainment for all involved. The parents appreciated the slightly gentler ride, and the teens preferred the screaming and splashing more.
