What travellers are saying
- Claire ClevsChorley, UK18 contributionsVisited 4th Jan, 4 adults and 2 children (1 and 5 years). Fairly enjoyable day out, got to see lots of animals on safari, and had a laugh watching a land-rover having its headlights thoroughly cleaned by one of the animals in the African plains. (Think it was a Waterbuck).
Only let down was the diner. Food is massively overpriced and not that great, to be honest. Would take a packed lunch next time.Written 5 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ian PSydney, Australia98 contributionsFriends took us here today, what an impressive and well designed areas. Loved walking around on the track and seeing the beauty in every corner. Child friendly, back to nature and a playground for the children and big kids as well.
The groundskeepers were delightful and knowledgeable when asked about several trees etc.
A place to relax, learn and encounter flora and fauna in the surrounding gardens.

It is just a really nice place to go for an hour or so and its free.Written 4 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul HMacclesfield, UK242 contributionsOur family group of six, with two dogs, from Cheshire, was staying locally, so thought we'd visit Wyre Forest. We chose the Giants Trail and had a lovely walk through the autumnal woodland. Our dogs ran free and explored extensively and interacted well with the many others we met. We then enjoyed some nice snacks at the cafe. All the facilities were well maintained; the toilets even had hot water. And we finished by using the excellent dog wash to clean our mucky pups.
We'd all enjoyed it so much that we visited again the following day and did the longer Arboretum Trail, and made similar use of all the facilities.
With our two dogs, you can imagine that we do a lot of country walks, but we all agreed that Wyre Forest is definitely one of the best of the woodland places we've been.Written 31 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Had a nice chat with John about beers and who stocks them.Written 4 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - nessiefWorcester, UK1,647 contributionsI noticed this cafe on my way to the shops from the car park. I popped in and wasn't disappointed at all. Good selection at reasonable prices and good quality. Very friendly and helpful staff/volunteers. I felt totally comfortable being on my own which isn't always the case. .Will come back with hubby/friendsWritten 29 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kirsty J28 contributionsWe went for the tasting experience- this was a fantastic experience where we got to taste all the gins and rums in the range. There was a whole variety of mixers so we could try out different flavours and combinations. The staff leading the session was so knowledgeable and friendly. There is a voucher included in the experience for the shop but there were no pushy sales at all- it was great to hear about the company’s ethical and sustainable practices and how they are implementing ecological practices for our local area. I would recommend this experience to anyone!!
Tip- definitely get a lift to and from the event!Written 6 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It has seen some history and would have many stories to tell if it could.
Currently only one way for motor vehicles. Not sure if this is for work on the bridge itself or to restrict traffic for flood defence works being done alongside it.Written 1 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. With a car park suitable for about a dozen cars and a circular walk of between 3 and 4 miles which is dog friendly and very few other walkers
The Mill itself is a lovely little building in great condition with information boards inside about its use and history and fully accessible.
While not a must see, if you are a local looking for some quiet countryside time, then this is probably somewhere you haven't been and should have a look.Written 7 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
