- Indy-NDSouth Bend, IN3,514 contributionsI have wanted to visit this museum for at least a decade. I'm an avid aviation enthusiast (not a pilot), and seeing the Spruce Goose was on my Bucket List.
The set up is excellent and the place looks great. We did not do the paid tour of the plane because of time constraints, but we could still go inside and see some of the interior. The rest of the main building is also laid out well. Don't forget to go up the stairs so you can see the perspective from above.
We did not have time for the theater or the 2nd building. My girlfriend wasn't feeling well, so I was happy with being able to see the Spruce Goose and headed out.Written 27 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We enjoyed a great afternoon with the two of them sampling the Reserve Flight - featuring 3 Pino Noirs, a Syrah, and my favorite - a fabulous Tempranillo. Thanks Jonathan and Jeff for a great Willamette Valley experience.Written 16 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - InfrequentTraveler58Saint Paul, MN21 contributionsOur itinerary had us on the coast overnight in Lincoln City, and we wanted to find a spot on the way into the valley to get a flavor for the area on the western edge of the region. We picked this one because of the owners' story (my wife is from Southern MN too). We had a 10am appointment and had it all to ourselves. We had very personal service from John who was a great story-teller and treated us to a very relaxing morning on the porch. The wines were good and it was really interesting to sample the different pinot noirs from different spots on the hillside. Their spot up on the hill was serene and beautiful, and the winery dog was a lot of fun too. Great start to our 2 days of wine-tasting, I'd recommend it!Written 26 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lm55417Minneapolis, MN293 contributionsAn excellent visit. The property and outdoor seating is stunning and the wines were wonderful. We especially enjoyed the sparkling rose. The story of the family is amazing and inspiring.Written 20 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Compass063935809851 contributionMy partner and I had a lovely visit here at dusk in early July 2023! The wines were amazing--we each got different flights--and the service was charming and informative and helpful! So helpful, in fact, that our sommelier apologized for the service being slow (it wasn't!) and went to give us a free wine tasting in the future only to discover that they were out of printed cards.
So she made one herself. ♡ And we genuinely look forward to using it!Written 3 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The layout seems to work well, with a nice balance between the wave pool, little kid areas, the larger pool, and the main slides.
Downsides: renting a locker involves waiting in a separate line once already in the facility (versus online or when checking in), no one seems to follow the expectation of showering before entering the water (especially after bathroom breaks), and the pools had more debris (two bandages, a bobby pin, and part of someone's swimsuit?) than past visits.
Upsides: the lifeguards were highly diligent during our visit, all employees were professional and polite, the life jacket area was organized, and the parking lot was easy to navigate.Written 4 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are spectacular wines in Oregon and in my humble non professional opinion, they stand up to most any wine. You can basically close your eyes and put your finger on a map of Oregon and find a winery. So, to be honest, this was just another wine stop on a day of touring. It was in an area, next to a brewery I wanted to try and TAAA DAAAA - what a find! The owner, Remy, was pouring wine and her wines stand out to me. I suppose Oregon is known for good Pinots, but everything Remy has is special. I believe they are more of an Italian wine style wines and , to me, really stand out. We liked them so much, we had wine shipped home to Colorado. It's a little out of the way, at the end of a street, but worth the effort.Written 21 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - klindsiedRedlands, CA176 contributionsI absolutely loved the wine from this Vineyard; the Pinot was great and it is one of the few places is McMinnville that has Chardonnay options, as well as other white options. The tasting was wonderful and the off-the-beaten-path GRAPE VARIETALS: Chaselles D'Ore, Melon de Bourgogne, and Trousseau to name a few, we fantastic. We learned a lot about why Oregon has so many of these funky varietals, BUT it was presented in such a pretentious way. I mentioned that I thought the Pinot Gris was too sweet and the girl pouring our wines defended and waxed poetic about why Pinot Gris isn't sweet to her. It was a lot. She could use to have a bit more decorum around customers; banter is fine, but attitude is where I would draw the line. I highly recommend visiting, but just be aware that the wine may be better than the service.Written 2 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HARRY MTigard, OR1,037 contributionsWe recently came down for a performance of "The Addams Family" and they did an excellent job. We really enjoy live theater and McMinnville is very lucky to have such a vibrant theater. The production was very well put together and the players were excellent. What was nice was the audience got to come up on the "stage" after the performance to have their pictures taken with the cast. Very well done.Written 13 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Dave HBeaver, PA275 contributionsWe stopped by for a tasting during the pandemic. We tasted 5 wines and were able to compare them side by side as they were all poured at once. It is fun to see the subtle differences between vineyards. Stephanie was a great host and we enjoyed all the wines.Written 17 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kelly H9 contributionsJoel and Laurie were fabulous hosts in their beautiful and small winery. The wines were delicious, and the tour was educational and pretty. We were able to do barrel tastings, walk in the vineyard, and sit to visit. I would recommend J.L.
